As far as I'm concerned if Socom was just 1 map and 1vs1 online with horrible lag and only 1 gun which jammed and you had no knife, it would still be a better experience then some of the half-arsed mini-games of Wii play. lol (except laser hockey and the tanks).

I don't think its similar as Wii Play gives you a free controller which I think is better than a headset as you can use it with every multiplayer game, not just games that have Voice support

That still works, though. If you want SOCOM, then buy the package and sell the mic, so you end up with SOCOM for less money (since you won't get $60 for the mic, but you can probably get $30+ in its packaging). Therefore, you spend less money on the game. Do it! (Unless, of course, you do not want the game.)
