With GDC coming up, i was wondering. Who are your favorite developers system wars? who do you consider the best now and the best all time?

My choices

Now:

All time:

• Valve (having the same game take up 3 spots in GR's top 10 says something)
• Nintendo
• Blizzard
• Rockstar

To me its Square and Konami along with nintendo.

Nintend-its freakin nintendo
Bungie- Halo 1,2,3, Marathon, and myth series.
Bioware- Baldurs Gate 1,2, Kotor, and Mass Effect
Blizzard- Starcraft, Warcraft, and ofcourse Diablo
Valve- Counterstrike, Half Life, Portal, and Team Fortress
2kboston- System Shock 1, System Shock 2, and Bioshock
Capcom- RE, DMC, Street Fighter, Dead Rising, etc

That would be my top devs right now and probably all time as well(well all time would also have RARE)

They can sell a console with only their titles

right now its def Bioware. And they have they have the paycheck to prove it(ask EA)

and as far as ALL TIME: Sega, and ill tell you why. Dont take my word for it..do some reaserch and you will find out that Sega is responsible for EVERY first in gaming, wether it be the "first 3d game or the first to have a character get out of vehicle and jack another"..it WAS NOT Take Two's GTA. Sega has pioneered the gaming idustry and has even had criticle success as a console developer, something that MOST devs cannot claim on thier resume. Peace and Godspeed
