CoD 4 was a pretty great shooter I must say

As far as actual good first person shooting mechanics go though NOTHING beats F.E.A.R

So hard to just choose one

Modern Warfare 3. Such a masterpiece.

I have prediction that soon there will be a lot of inflation toward the Killzone 2 option is the last voting is anything to go by.

Far cry 3 for me by a hair over halo 3, reach, kz2

TF2 or STALKER

My choice would be Far Cry 3.

Was looking for Dues Ex HR...

But on that list FC3 hands down. It's the only one that took us out of the linear corridor shootfest that was/is CoD Battlefield.

KZ2 is a close second tho on that list. Game kicks a$$.

Halo 3 ftw. It was the complete package and has more online features than the majority of online games even to day. Also the support by Bungie was superb and made the game very popular up until Halo Reach

When I think of Deus Ex HR, I dont think FPS. I spent hardly anytime shooting in that game.

But it is a FPS..... Thats like saying mlb2k13 isnt a baseball game....

If it is a FPS first and foremost it is a terrible one. Whats next people going to call Dishonored a FPS?

It is a FPS, but you have multiple ways of dealing with situations. You can stealth kill everyone, you can stealth on by without killing anyone or you can shoot it out. The gameplay is good enough to be a fps.

That's fine, just know that it is. It is an action roleplaying game. fps to be exact.

STALKER out of that list. Surprised not to see Shadow Warrior there though.

Killzone 2, that is all.

No Half Life 2? Was it eliminated in Round 1? If so, that's a shame.

Stalker is easily the one out of those.

Modern Warfare. Evolved FPS gaming on consoles more than any other choice with its perks and level unlocks.

Only FPS I put more time into than MW was TF2, and since TF2 isn't on the list...MW it is.

I would have voted for TF2 if I could have. So good even to this day.

Team fortress 2 not being on the list shows how much of a console fair land this place is....

most of the console voted shooters cant even touch its population after this many years, or its content/gameplay.
