The best games of current Decade so far?

currrent decade starting from 2020. its now 2024. what are absolute best games of this decade so far?

heres what I think

These 4 are absolute best for me. Doom Eternal for being perfect FPS and start decade. RE4 is best remake ever made even better than original. Robocop best movie to game adoption after Riddick EFBB. and having gunplay best since FEAR. its just so good. Hitman 3 complete the WOA trilogy and become gaming on of the finest trilogy and one of only few AAA stealth game. cant wait for thier 007 game.

hopefully STALKER 2 also join them or if it become as good as Stalker 1 it will sit above them.

Streets of Rage 4, but I recently beat Streets 2 for the first time and find it better because of the music.

What Sony? Wokeman 2 is for people that don't play video games, Ragnarok is a ps4 game, Demon's Souls is awesome, but a ps3 game. Everything else isn't even close to be running for the best of the best. Sony, with the help of Jimbo Ryan, put everyone on vacation. They don't really make video games since the beginning of this generation.

Haven't played much from the current decade yet, but Star Wars Squadrons is my pick so far. It's this perfect balance of sim-cade space combat I didn't know I needed. The kind of game you would expect EA to make live-service, but they didn't.

Elsen Ring and not close.

Cyberpunk 2.1, Elden Ring , Tears Of The Kingdom and Half Life: Alyx are my favorite games so far

Besides playing a couple hours of re4r at a buddy's house, I haven't played a game that released this decade.

For me as a racing fan Forza horizon 5 is an elite racer that will take some beating this generation.

In all honesty come 2030 the only games we will actually see contend for GOTD are Elden Ring, TLOU2 and BG3. Maybe Zelda:TOTK.

First of all, you must stop trolling me. Its getting stressful. Secondly, when a game offers me as much hours of entertainment as BG3, why the **** would i buy something else when i am still enjoying the shit outta the game? Think about it, little sealion🤗

Depends. Gaming covers a huge span of genres and experiences. Would be easier to answer if the question were more specific.

Street Fighter 6 may one day get there. Just tone down drive rush, remove throw loops and focus on character variety and it might just be the best fighting game out there. Still a long time until the first balance patch though.

elden ring, demon's souls and deathloop, the last only after umpteen game changing updates and a lot of very visually potent mushrooms. re4r was good but didn't set my world on fire. tlou2 had some of the best gameplay sections but they were too few and far between. that's all that comes to mind

From what I've played:

And what, Ghost of Tsushima, GTA5, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PS5 weren’t this decade?

Townsmen VR was also really great.

Deathloop is excellent but Robocop spoiled every FPS for me. its just that good.

@ghosts4ever: i'll definitely be picking it up soon. looking forward to it. deathloop got soooooo much better after the goldenloop update that introduced a load of new content and smoothed out most of the rough edges. if it wasn't for that update it wouldn't have made my list
