THE BEST looking game last-gen

Far Cry looked good, but i dont recall it looking that good on my xbox and i had the HD adapter to go with it. i do remember the good water effects for sure though, but for me, i have to go with Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, IMO the game holds a candle to some current gen gamesMerek16

Agreed. Chaos Theory is the best-looking *console* game of last gen, along with Chronicles of Riddick and Ninja Gaiden Black.

Panzer Dragoon was just pure eye candy, but I would probably give that title to Cronicles of Riddick or Chaos Theory.HarryCrackage

Riddick is an awesome game, in pretty much all aspects. the only thing that i would have to gripe about its graphics is the field of depth, evertying and anything beyond 5 ft in front of you look ugly and jaggy. with that said, i cant wait for the remake :D

MGS 3 snake eater for me, the end was epic, if you played the game you know what i meanbig_boss4life

From a PC standpoint: FEAR and Half-Life 2 were the best looking games of last gen in my opinion.

From a console standpoint: MGS3: Snake Eater and God of War II.

Yeah, that was impressive looking as I remember renting Far Cry for a while and must add, that game looks better and does more then a certain " cough" this gen console will ever do. ;)

Oh and also I think this game along with Riddick & NG are right there as well. :D

Riddick and Splinter Cell : CT were by far the best looking games on consoles last gen, and on top of that Riddick was a really good game.

I would have to go with Oblivion or maybe Call of Duty 2. Guild Wars looks pretty good also. I also think Doom 3 and Battlefield 2 look good. Lets not forget Half Life 2.

I would count FEAR as current gen. If you dont, then I think its the best looking game of last gen :P

Xbox: Ninja Gaiden, Rallisport Challenge 2, Riddick, Doom 3, Halo 2, SC: Chaos Theory, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate.

PlayStation 2: God of War 2, Tekken 5, Gran Turismo 4, Soul Calibur 3, Final Fantasy XII, Resident Evil Outbreak, Devil May Cry, Ghosthunter.

GameCube: Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil 4, Star Fox Adventures, TLOZ: Windwaker, TLOZ: Twilight Princess, Rogue Squadron II, F-Zero GX, Super Mario Sunshine.

I'm pretty sure i forgot some others.
