Mine are in no particular order.

1: Mass Effect. It is not often that you get play the first Bioware RPG of a generation.
:idea: Picture depicts what is special about Bioware RPG's, the social element.

2: Super Mario Galaxy. An innovative and trippy expansion to the platform genre.
:idea: Picture depicts one of the implications of new 3D gravity physics.

3: Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. Possibly the first Pixar quality videogame.
:idea: Picture depicts the integration of cinematics into the gameplay environments.

4: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The first Wind Waker Zelda since The Wind Waker.
:idea: Picture depicts just how awesome it is that this is a new Wind Waker on the DS.

5: Halo 3. The conclusion to the popular epic trilogy that will be the last chapter.
:idea: Picture depicts a spooky interior environment, similar to the first game.
6: Hellgate: London. The cult hack'n'slash rpg by the Diablo 1 & 2 team that left Blizzard North.
:idea: Picture depicts the inventory and skills screen.
