The best platformer known to man is...

THIS.

I have played almost all of the big platformers, and I can honestly say that Banjo is still king. Galaxy was a lot for fun and had some great design in it, but it just didn't have the magic that Banjo has. Who else agrees? :)

P.S. I found out today that the same group that make Banjo-Kazooie/Banjo-Tooie are making Banjo-Kazooie 3. Rare has gone downhill for sometime now, but with the original team back, it might just turn out awesome.

I agree. That game bring back childhood memories.

I disagree, because i cant just choose one. I have too many memories playing a lot of platformers, its hard to choose one. Some of my favourites, though, are:
Super Mario World
Super Mario 64
Super Mario Galaxy
Banjo Kazooie
Banjo Tooie
Conkers Bad Fur Day
Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country 2
Donkey Kong 64

No way. Banjo had bigger, more open levels, better visuals, better originality, better music (yeah, I said it) and better gameplay/level design. This is all my opinion, but I stand by it.

from all platformers i hat the most fun jumping around with mario 64

in banjo it just looked funny if you jump around but it doesn't feel the same (too short jumps ) but many tools (birds) too use :)
