The BEST PUBLISHER is currently EA.

This is my opinion, first of all. But I think it's funny how EA pulled a 180.

I remember when people DESPISED EA. They were called evil. People said they were ruining gaming. But now, imo, EA is one of the best publishers out there, if not the best completely.

Some recent awesome games published by EA as well as respectable decisions: Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Dragon Age Origins, and Dragon Age 2. Bulletstorm. Dead space 1, and Dead Space 2. Crysis 1, and Crysis 2.When the IW team left activision and started an independent team, EA financially supported them to get them started. There are SOOOO many more recent, awesome games published by EA, and many respectable decisions made by them. Those are just the things I can think of from the top of my head.

BUT, who took the "old EA's" place as the horrible, evil publisher??? In myopinion, without a doubt: Activision.

I guess when compared with activision, any publisher seems friendly and loving.

I wouldn't say the best, but they certainly are great. NFS, Battlefield, MoH, Fifa, etc. are all from EA and I love all of em. But there's also Sony with GoW, R&C, Resistance, Killzone, Uncharted, Heavy Rain, Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, SotC, TLG, Warhawk, so many games. So IMO Sony Computer Enterainment is my favorite.

EA is pretty good. I don't own that many EA games though. I only have Army of Two, Bad Company 2, Dead Space 1 and 2, Mass Effect 2, Medal of Honor, and NFS Hot Pursuit from them. Sony has been my favorite publisher this gen

I wouldn't say the best, but they certainly are great. Assassin's Creed, NFS, Battlefield, MoH, Fifa, etc. are all from EA and I love all of em. But there's also Sony with GoW, R&C, Resistance, Killzone, Uncharted, Heavy Rain, Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, SotC, TLG, Warhawk, so many games. So IMO Sony Computer Enterainment is my favorite.

Though if going by 3rd party, then yeah EA is the best.

Really pulled a 360 from last gen were only the sports division was routinly good.

For me it's between EA, Sony, Acti-blizz and Capgods.

I, personally, don't feel that EA improved that much, but rather that Activision just got so bad so as to make EA look good by comparison.

Don't get me wrong, I applaud EA for taking chances with some new IPs, but their titles feel underdeveloped and their servers are horrible.

I actually thought about this same exact subject the other day with how people used to see them as evil and now they put out extremely high quality games, I completely agree they're the best. Sony's games do not really appeal to me.

Hah. I poop in the face of the idea of EA being a good publisher (depending on context of course). Let's be fair and acknowledge that they're doing some good things, but in my hateful opinion that's all weighed down by EA's omnipresent drive of being the originator and instigator of all things bad in the DLC/pre-order/etc. sector.

I like the games they publish, but not their servers and some of their plans are questionable.

They are getting better, but their tendency to milk products with DLC (even making you pay for online in some games if you don't buy it new) drives me bonkers...

Sony is my favourite publisher, but EA is pretty good as well. I really want to say Ubisoft, but other than Assassin's Creed I can't think of anything astonishing that they did.
