Belonged to the 360 when it first came out, the original Blades were awesome. Slick, easy to navigate, atheistically pleasing whilst being functional. The blades had it all then MS had to go and ruin it with those shitty avatars.
Clearly, PS3 and PS4 were winners. Both has simple and easy UI. I don´t need UI that has adds, colors and all random stuff at random places that makes no sense at all.

ps4 definitely. The only ads you will ever see are typically in single tab for "what's new" and link back to related items in the marketplace. It is BLAZING FAST and easy to navigate.
I liked the blades on the 360 a lot, but I didn't mind the first new UI they made for the 360 after the blades either.
But since then, the boxes and attempts at recreating the windows 8 look are just total shit. There's a reason why everyone hates windows 8 despite being an upgrade. Ps3 was functional, but slow and exactly the same as the psp, so it also is pretty low on the list.
Gotta to go with the wii U. It's amazingly fast, it's like nothing I've ever seen.
WiiU is pretty great actually, having the touchscreen makes it even simpler. If it was speedier to go into settings and stuff like that it would be perfect.
I liked the blades but the ps4 and wii u interfaces are much better. The ps4 is snappier but as stated above, besides the settings loading times, the Wii u interface with touch screen is really accessible which is what I want. I hate what ms did to the ui of the 360 after the blades because it just got too clutteted. If I wanted to be using windows 8, I'd put it on my pc. I wish ms would stop pushing the terrible Metro interface on people and just go back to simple.
Ultimately ps4 and wii u for me though. Sorry for the rant.
@iambatman7986: I'm pretty sure the biggest complaint about Windows 8 for desktop was because trying to force a layout designed for tablets and phones. Interestingly, Metro works well with Xbox One except for terrible speech recognition and inability to recognize natural speech.

Lol, I wouldn't exactly label the Wii U UI as quick. Sure it's faster now than it was at launch, but it's still not quick. Especially in comparison to the PS4.

I meant everything is accessible with a single touch. You don't have to go around digging in sub menus.
The loading times themselves are around three seconds following a click, nothing I can't live with. But yeah, they should aim to make it as snappy as the 3DS OS.

Now that I totally agree with. I was impressed with how easy it was to find things during my short time with it. Hopefully Nintendo can continue to improve the overall performance of the OS.

I like the one on the PS3 the best. Its fast and easy to navigate. The PS4 looks better, and its a lot faster, but sony needs to allow you to organize it better. With a few updates it could be the best. On the 360 I was a fan of the blades, and I also thought the NXE was good dashboard, its quite surprising how advance that UI was compared to what we got with the xbone. How MS managed to downgrade the dash so much, I'll never know.

and all of those adds on the ps3 arent on ur main page u actually have to click into whats new....they dont show up when u start ur ps3
I somewhat agree with TC, Xbox 360 blade system was pretty damn good. As much as I'm a Sony fanboy now, I do have fond memories of using this UI and when it was all about the games and not Kinect, avatars, TV and ads-in yo face UI. Indeed, I did enjoy XBOX360 early in it's life.. but then it just went to hell and xbone fails to impress even further.

I Loved the blades! They didnt have all those shtity ads all over the place like they started doing with NXE. Although, I did like the NXE as well, but it went downhill from there honestly..
