There can be no disputing this. In a few hours for NA anyways the new WoW expansion will be out. I will definitely be one of the thousands lining up at midnight for it . The question is , what are you gonna be doing ?
you should edit your title to " personal biggest game of the year" because i couldn't give a rats arse about WOTLK and i'm sure alot of people don't either. But you go ahead standing in line for that.
I'll be enjoying the fact that I don't waste money every month to play a game as boring as WoW. I'll be doing this in my warm bed, not out in the cold, waiting in some line.
I quit WoW when Burning Crusade came out. I didn't care then, and I don't care now. So what will I be doing? Playing a different game probably, or sleeping.

:lol: You're kidding right? In all honesty, I'm finding WOTLK to be rather lame. WoW in general took Warcraft's well-written, awesome story and made it weak. Not to mention the core gameplay is no different. And the fun factor? Seriously? I quit WoW because I got bored of it. WOTLK is essentially more of the same.
The stuff thats in it should have been with WoW in the first place. After all, Northrend is a continent in Azeroth and Deathknights have existed in Azeroth for a very long time.Â

Um, yeah. That gameplay is really on point. Click on an enemy, cast a few spells(maybe), figure out if you're going to die before you are able to kill the enemy. Stand there until the enemy is dead or run away. Loads of fun. Seriously, combat is terrible in every MMORPG, and it is always central to the gameplay. I can't think of another game I've played all year that doesn't have better gameplay than WoW. The social aspect of the game is great, but the gameplay is dull and repetetive. It's a chatroom with graphics that you have to pay for every month. Pass.
