Obsidian. Bethesda is terrible at it, but whatever I get very little enjoyment out of their games. Obsidian actually has some great ideas in their games, and are somehow even worse than Bethesda in terms of bugs. So annoying.

Without Bethesda's bug it won't be a Bethesda game. Plus you got to admit, some of the bugs are hilarious. :P

To be fair, Bethesda's games are much more complex than other games. With the amount of things that you can do in the game, it's understandable that the game would have a few bugs that they didn't find until millions of people were playing the game...

Big name company? Obsidian, hands down.

Actual developer who releases the buggiest games? That title goes to a company none of us probably know the name for, or the name of the game for that matter. Do you know how many games have been made, like, ever lol? Realistically speaking of course, we won't know, hehe.

Out of the better known ones, Bethesda or Obsidian. Their bugs are usually the result of too much ambition... when you have a game like Skyrim with so many characters and places, bug testing must be pretty damn hard.

On point with that comment, my man. Same goes for Obsidian. I'm not sure if any of us here are Q&A testers for a living, have any intensive coding background, or have any inclination of what it's like to develop the intricate, and large games Obsidian and Bethesda create. My hats off to them. But that said, them games be buggy as hell.

Eh, their BF3 stuff was pretty buggy at launch. Even after the beta I would fall through the map and see the occasional long necked soldier. But from a dev who primarily deals with online I think poor net code can be counted as being buggy. Like bad hit detection and getting hit behind walls etc. It's not entirely in their control but DICE are notorious for slapping shit into their BF games and then hoping it works, then have to completely change or fix it with patches later on

Bethesda is also one of the most ambitious. It's easy to be bug free when you go through the easy way and make 5 hour linear campaigns. When games are open world, have dozens of quests, hundreds of NPCs you can interact with, thousands of objects with their own physics, etc, on the other hand, bugs happen.

CD projekt RED have also released 2 very buggy games with the 2 witchers. both games have had many many patches to fix bugs. still, unlike some other devs, i am confident to buy one of their games day one as they have an excellent track record of getting things fixed. bethesda have been getting better in fairness to them and their support for skyrim since release patch wise has been excellent. keep that up and i will also be far more confident in buying their games day one in the future. i got burned by morrowind on the PC and a memory leak issue that was never fixed (also happened on the xbox but less frequently)....very annoying. some of the bugs in elder scrolls games are also worth it for the lols. nothing beats a random floating stick or a dragon getting killed then flying up in the air and smashing into the ground again for a laugh. as long as its not a regular thing i am not too fussed. the developers of the arma games also tend to release buggy (but again have a great track record of sorting it out). the games are incredibly ambitious mind so it is understandable. dungeon siege 3 was pretty stable from obsidian. that was on their own engine. i think obsidian just hate the gamebyro engine (and who doesn't? :P).

Without a doubt, it has to be Codemasters. Their F1 series is an annual bug-fest.

Cd Projekt: They release their games too early and with too many bugs. The combat and the menus were both broken when Witcher 2 came out.

I know people go on about how they support their games etc. I preordered that and played it when it came out. It shouldn't have been released in that state. Â
