I own both consoles and I prefer the PS3's controller over 360's. As for mics on PSN, they sound the same as mics on Xbox Live. The only difference I noticed is that a lot of times on Live, mics start to break up a lot at random times which sucks. Especially with Halo 3.
The truth about the 360 is when will it self destruct or destroy your favorite game. While the PS3 can run non stop with no problems. It has been proven in some test of playing the console in very high tempertures and also very very cold tempertures and it did this with no problem.
Now developers are joining the PS3, the number of games being developed on the PS3 is growing almost weekly by third party developers at that. And Sony isn't dropping large amounts of cash on these developers to bring them aboard, instead they are working with these various developers.

The thread was a failure as of the OP, every system being produced today either out of the box or with additional purchasing has features well beyond just games, even the GBA, DS, and Wii.

Gears was good, and so was Halo 3. I also enjoyed Saints Row, and Perfect Dark is ok for a rental, but if the 360 is just what the Doctor ordered, why am I having a hard time finding anything else to play on it?
