The coolest looking game that stunk once I played it

Back on topic, I would say Halo 2. I wouldn't say it "stunk", but it certainly disappointed me. I don't know why, but I enjoy Gears much more...

I don't think there's ever been a game that has really disappointed me.....

whats funny is doom was my game back in the day (as well as wolf3d)

along come hl2, doom3, q4 , rtcw

i have absolutely no hype what so ever

i've played them all, and hl2 was the only thing to actually surpass my expectations (because i had virtually no hype , where as most people were too hyped)

i didnt like ff9 or 10 much either, thankfully i kept my hype to a minimum

It has to be Doom 3.That game looked so awesome but when I finally got it I got bored after 4 hours or so.Have you had any experiences like this?jimmygrace

I agree, I went out and bought Doom3 on blind faith because Doom I and II were great. After I got through a few levels, I got tired of the same type of scenery and had to force myself to continue through. After I beat it, it was traded immediately. I didnt even bother with the multipleyer, I was completely done with the title.

 Yea, Fable was pretty fun. It was just too short, too easy and the world wasnt that big.

I felt the same way. So ill go with gears of war. I lost interest after a short period of time. It was fun while it lasted.
