The Darkness flops at IGN

AA for most....But I have seen several people state AAA...

Honestly, when people feel like throwing reviews scores in my face when I say I like such games as Black and Killzone, I'm just going to point out this.

The Chronicles of Riddick (Xbox version, made by Starbreeze also) got an 8.5 over there. Here at GS it got a 9.3.

I'm guessing The Darkness, with this new rating system, will get 8.5.

Logic dictates that Gears of War should have flopped considering it is only 8 hours long. Is there even multiplayer though in The Darkness? If there isnt, then it would explain why Gears got such good reviews, had it lacked online then it would have flopped too.

While the Ps3 will have some games which should be great theirs no denying that the 360 now and towards the end of the year beats the Ps3 in terms of quality and the amount of games it has, Idont have to worry though as i own all next gen consoles and handhelds and very nice pc.

This isnt good news, I had high hopes for this one. I was totally taken in by the trailers.. This sucks. Im hoping it was just a bad review.

If my agressive responce was offensive, than I appologize... However I am a strong proponent of reality and one of the biggest lies found again and again on this board is that somehow the PS3 and Wii's game library can even hold a flame to the 360's line-up of nukes... See, the 360 has already crossed over the "lilly pad" hopping from game to game in hopes of a great... we have dozens and plenty to keep up occupied for many summers....

I pre-ordered Overlord, my buddy pre-ordered Darkness we are going to finish them and then swap them, they may suck but oh, well $60 to play through 2 different games is not too bad a deal.

They both ship today and will be in the stores tommorrow.

Im not really expecting much from this game,the campaign looks decent...but the mutliplayer looks less that average.Other times...the campaign looks pretty fun,I might just rent it.

IGN isnt the only one to give it a bad review. It has an 78.8 average on gamerankings.
