The Dream Team: Mikami, Kojima, Suda 51 to colaborate on 3 exclusive Wii titles

Amazing news for Wii owners.... as usual

Shinji Mikami creator of Resident Evil 4, Hideo Kojima creator of Metal Gear Solid, Goichi Suda creator of Killer 7 (as seen pictured in this interview above) announced 3 exclusive titles for the wii. One of them has already been shown.. and its no more heroes..the other one will be developed by Mikami and Suda the third one by Suda and Kojima..

apparently Hideo thinks the Wii is a good platform... he's had nothing but praise to say about it.

Kojima has released games besides Metal Gear... and most of them have been Good. You just don't hear about them, just like you don't hear about George Lucas' other films which are also btw for the most part good.

Also Hideo Kojima is on record as saying that he wishes people would reconize his other works...

Yes, it's better for him to put the rest of his life on MGS development. Anyway, that's great news. I have seen an interview and it seems like Suda loves the Wii, it's definitely a possibility that it could become his console of choice and if that does happen...... Then...... Well..... Thats definitely awsome news for the Wii.

It becomes majorly difficult and it could not be very cost effective to make huge risks on a console that takes 8 times the amount of money to make a good game. Thats one of the reasons why this generation is being called the multiplatform generation.

So three of my favorite game developers that made three of my favorite games from last generation are going to be making three exclusive games for my favorite next-gen console.

... I for one consider this a good thing. :D

When one of my favorite game designers decides to develope a game on a consoel I dislike, it means he's spending time NOT designing games for my preferred consoles. How am I a fanboy for being unhappy about that?

Seconded FTFW. Especially the Kojima/Suda title. Both of them are responsible for creating some of the best storylines I've seen in gaming, so I'm hoping this one'll be a real mind-melter.

Mehh well if you have money to spend on a PS3 plus an HDTV and if those titles become really good, whats stopping you from buying a 250 less in probably a years time console? 

If you really were a fan, you'd have confidence in his ability. The fact you don't want him to make something for a certain platform shows you have doubt.
