but in the long run, the 360 controller will be more expensive than the DS3 because when you do spend that 54.99 for a DS3, that's it, but with a 360 controller, you have to worry about batteries or a 25.00$ charge cable.
p.s. and the funny thing is that the DS3 can take ANY A-B usb connector to plug it in your ps3/cpu while you play, the 360 have to have the m$ charge cable in order to charge the batteries. It sucks that m$ didn't make their console universal accessory friendly

The DS3 have a 10 year lifetime (taken from the past presentation of the six axis) lithium battery (meaning no batteries need to be bought or changed) and it does have six axis (which might not count for much, but it still is a feature that the 360 controllers doesn't have) and is only 5 bucks more. With the price of the DS3 announced, the 360 controllers are the real controllers that looks to be more of a rip-off

the batteries last for 60 hours roughly when the six axis is 18 and the ds 3 is a bit better at 20 because it has a better battery in it...soooooooo

All these controllers are explensive but the Wii mote is literlly indestructable! (+ the strap and the rubber thinging) and when you get mad at a game and "acendently" throw the remote at the tv, you knoe who is going to lose :P

I miss the days when I didn't have to think "Hey, should I get this sweet multiplayer game that I can play with 2 of my friends since I have 3 controllers, or should I buy another controller so I can play with 3 friends on old games?" I've come very close to buying third party controllers, but I haven't yet....
