5 Reasons Why That Had Better Have Been AJoke

1. The 360s that get red rings have a 3 year warranty, meaning the rings themselves are less relevant.

2. Last time I checked, Halo 3 has about 4 million pre-orders according to Gamestop.

3. 360 has the most 3rd party support of any of the 3 systems for this year and on, including 3rd party exclusives that are publishedby Microsoft themselves for guaranteed exclusivity.

4. Most PS3 games that are also on 360 look better on 360 75% of the time according to reviews. Also, Xbox Live and XNA is already doing most of what Home and LBP does, except without avatars to guide you.

5.... What no fifth reason? :)

I'm gonna go ahead and say most consumers arent gonna be swayed to pay $600 for the crotch grabbing simulator that is MGS4.

I'm getting a PS3 one of these days... Halo three is making me want a 360 though... four player co-op... :shock:

40% of gamespot 360 owner got a ring of death... it's their hardware alone that is causing bad press and reputation.

I would never buy a 360 until they can solved their problems. I'm used with Microsoft bad habbits.

I have nothing aganist the ps3 nor the wii i love them both im actually a gamer on all of them so i no what im talking about when i say these reasons are complete and totall bullshat

1.Thats Crap None of my freinds or me have ever gotten a ring of death so thats like 15 people i no that own a 360 that havent gotten it and u can get a free one even if it breaks

I have to disagree. I think these are the reasons

1) Hardware failure rate

2) Japan

3) DVD9

4) Very limited fanbase and weak appeal

I don't think the X360 will win this gen but I expect sales to be reasonable maybe in the 40-60 million. Im sure MS would like more but its hard to make brand names stick and with XBX & 360 I think it sets them up nicely for a third console.

I also think the TC is a fanboy buffoon and supports consoles for the wrong reasons. The 360 is a fantastic console a little under-powered like the PS3 imo to last 10 years but a decent console. Why they both didnt use 1gb Ram is beyond me but fanboys will always believe that the CPU is the bees knees of powerful gaming when really in the last 10 years its all to do with GPU, RAM, bandwidths and pipelines and anyaiding chips. PS3 atm loses out to 360 in those departments, lets hope that itsCPU can be programmed to really aid the videogaming aspects. Its possible but enough to cover over PS3's weak GPU and slow/narrow bandwidths that will be traversed to aid the GPU from CPU. I'm not so sure...

Maybe BR can also help in that area I think most fanboys feel that PS3's winning card is BR. I'm sure it can aid the GPU too...lol
