This is a single player trailer for God of War ascensions, looks great and the graphics look great, even better then 3. With this and Beyond Souls and the Last of Us coming out its nice to see the ps3 go out in a blaze of glory.

Same.  Good as it looks it's just more shallow GOW and it's getting really old... not that I won't enjoy the hell out of this, but this is it for GOW.

Sony Santa Monica needs to make a new IP on PS4 and give it more depth than GOW.  Or at least improve from GOW by leaps and bounds.

Same here. Multiplayer beta was decent, but I am not the biggest GOW fan. I hope there is a demo.

Sad to see him god on my PS3. I really hope Sony don't screw up online because I wanna keep going on his journey.

My pre-order is still waiting. I should re-play all the GOW's while I wait. :)

I got my 60GB PS3 packed away for safe keeping.

Looks like it has some impressive scale again. Seen most of that trailer in the first 30 minute gameplay video though. Looking forward to seeing some of the bigger bosses, wish I had a PS3 to play it though. 

Looking back on the PS3, still regard MGS4 as one of the pinnacle games of the gen.

Still don't know why people regard that game so highly. It was a huge let down for me. So much worse than any of the other metal gear games,.

I sometimes wonder if the people who praise it so highly (not you) actually played the other games first or this one first. Or if they even played the other metal gear agmes at all

It'll be fun to watch but that's about it. 

Can't believe it's the last year of the PS3.

Going to be a great year for Playstation owners. Not only do they have the PS4 launching later this year, they also have great games coming out on the Playstation 3.

It's like God of War 2 because of all the attention to detail they're putting in not necessarily having to do with more graphics, look at Kratos's skin it actually shows the dirt and ash, Kratos in GOW3 just looked white.  The shading work is impeccable.

I enjoyed it more than all the other Metal Gear games, except maybe MGS3.

That looked pretty incredible. Can't wait to pick it up.  Santa Monica does some impressive technical stuff. I can't believe they pulled it off on a 7-year old console.

Actually the e3 demo proved to perform very similarly to GOW3 if not better.  They really haven't done much with the graphics, they're just paying much more attention to the finer details and making everything consistent.  That alone will make it much better than GOW3, consistency in the game.

GOW 3 performed in the mid 30's most of the time, with a minimum fps of 26fps, same as I saw in the GOW:A demo.  It only hit into the upper 40's and higher when the action wasn't as heavy or the camera angle wasn't showing much.  If Ascensions stays more around 30fps it's actually a good thing because it will reduce judder.  Games need to try and have locked frame rates.

MGS4 has long secured its place among the gaming greats, Legends, experiences so amazing and thorough, that it would be sacrilage to even try and replicate it.

The demo was good.....but at the same time it was pretty meh. It's typical God of War. Nothing more, nothing less. I enjoyed it, but it didn't excite me and doesn't make me want to buy it. Still, the multiplayer is breathing new life into the series. The beta really surprised me with how fun it was. Still not enough to make me get the game though.
