Deus Ex 3
Lets hope they don't screw this up!

What, has Baldur's Gate III been announced or something?
Deux Ex II was a let down for many for what I can appreciate. Plus Ion Storm is gone. I think people will meet this one with eskepticism.
[QUOTE="Relys"][QUOTE="air_wolf_cubed"]but i already new about starcraft 2whocares9
He's talking about the "greatest" pc game, you ****.
He is talking about Crysis?
Lol, guess again. Crysis sucks. I haven't played whatever this game is, but I know people rave about it as the number 1 PC game all the time.

You are not really convicing anyone here.
Whatever. I'm not the one dumb enough to buy a Nvidia 8800 GTS to get a crappy 24fps.
[QUOTE="_Pedro_"]rumour has it that this game is going to be using the Cry2 Engine. Relys
:( Please no. That engine runs like crap on my decent NEW computer.
well they could scale it down a bit, I think a City is easier to render than every leaf in a jungle covered island.

Well I think it could be on Unreal 3 engine. The first two Deus Ex games were on the Unreal engine. The one thing they should take from Crysis though is the Nano-suit interface and use that for augments that would be good. You also might want to know that this will probably be on consoles which further enhances my belief that it will be on the Unreal 3 engine.[QUOTE="_Pedro_"][QUOTE="Relys"][QUOTE="_Pedro_"]rumour has it that this game is going to be using the Cry2 Engine. smokeydabear076

I do think the Cry Engine would really set this title apart. I've seen cryengine do some city rendering and it was absolutely breathtaking. But UE3 doesn't seem like a bad choice either.

Truth.
Plus CryEngine 2 looks like it could render a city really nicely.

And that's only from a single modder. Imagine the results if you set loose a team of professionals on this engine.
Sadly, without Warren Specter heading the project, it is doomed to fail miserably. I have yet to find a single player game as engrossing, interactive and deep as Deus Ex so far. It was just that damned good.
Also yes, Starcraft was the greatest game of all time. Deus Ex was the greatest single player game of all time though!
*Lets out a deep sigh* Ten bucks says its going to be an abomination to the franchise like Oblivion and Fallout 3.Vandalvideo
you played fallout3? HOW WAS IT!? Oblivion was a good game aswell sure some like Morrowind better and for good reason, if someone could put the realtimey combat out of Oblivion into Morrowind MAN that would rock.

HAHAHA these two quotes together were hilarious! lol
All thats left is Diablo III :o... wonder if thats coming anytime soon.
-Half life 2.1 is getting screwed over with episodes.
-Fallout 3 is going all FPS on us
-Oblivion whilst great really took steps back from Morrowind
-Quake 4 really disapointed me with the SP and MP was/is Q3 but its not as fast
... and now Dues Ex 3 and StarCraft 2, fingers crossed that they actualy succeed or our expectations getting ahead of us?
hey atleast I have some hope. Don't forget that Warren had very little to do with the actual development of System Shock 2 and look at how that turned out. Sometimes it's better to pass on greatness to a younger generation._Pedro_
He also had very little to do with actual development of original SystemShock1 :)
I like Warren, but in reality the only game that he truly "made" (ie...was the main driving force behind it) was the first DeusEx.

he is very creative, Deus Ex is just the result of all his idea's being made reality that's true :)
