I don't know but seems Wii isn't the console where most of JRPG fanbase resides neither in Japan nor in the west since even Tales games doesn't do very well on it even in japan.

It needs to be translated.

If the ps3 wasn't so full of amazing games this year, I'd have got a wii to get all the amazing exclusives it got last year. (there's too many games)

A game could get a 4, if all 4 reviewers give it a 1.

EDIT: I don't want to know how bad a game would have to be to get a 4 on famitsu though :P

There are like the least reliable reviewer.

Not saying the game won't be good, just don't count your chicks yet.

It probably means that this game will at least score an 8 or above on Gamespot if it ever makes it here

The problem is most of the people doesn't understand how Famitsu scores the games they think its score from 40 while its actually 4 persons reviewing 1 game and usually each person represent a type of gamers like hardcore, casual and a girl (At least thats what I remember).

I'd bet money Last Story gets westernized and scores around an 8.5 aggregate.

they mean as much as any other score reported to this site. which means that they mean nothing, or as much as you put into them yourself.

In comparison, you not caring about famitsu scores, is the same as a japanise guy not caring about gamespot scores. Not surprising at all.

Saying Famitsu scores don't mean much isn't because it's a Japanese magazine.

It's because enough moneyhatting or advertising dollars spent will get you a good score.

One could say the same applies to other review sources though I suppose.
