Definitely picking this up.

I truely hope the overworld has a ton of treats the original didnt despite being 90% identical.
I will be incredibly dissapointed if I whind up buying half a new game.

They did say that it's gonna be the same world with a new story set six generations after the original, so the fact that the map is the same isn't surprising at all. 

And either way, thanks to the new paper mechanic there's bound to be some major design differences to incorporate the use of that particular mechanic, as we've seen in the videos actually.

The Dark World better be damn well different. Because so far they are doing exactly what I was afraid of.  Let's hope they at least do different things with it.
