He is right that only Metal Gear is ocming this year ;)  They could do it world wide rellease, if they get the actors for the american and japanese ones recording at the same time.

No FF13 in 2007?  Did I miss something?  Because that's big for them in Japan.  Otherwise, Nintendo really will run away with the motherland.

I beleive that has been confirmed. Hopefully someone else can help me out with a link. 

I am surprised they did not talk about the price more. True the games are really hurting the PS3 but the price is also. I think this Christmas 360 will drop their price and will be interesting to see if PS3 is even able to and by how much.

I am surprised they did not talk about the price more. True the games are really hurting the PS3 but the price is also. I think this Christmas 360 will drop their price and will be interesting to see if PS3 is even able to and by how much.

did you read today that the 360 is making money off each console now?  The Elite in particular? 

Flopping yes , but a failure ? It is too early for that.  It is best to wait about a year to see what happens. The ps3 is going to be cheaper in a years time , the exclusives are coming towards the end of this year starting with Lair , the ps2 will finally die for most people , GTA IV is releasing this year , HD will grow , their online will improve , Home is coming , E3 excitement , upcoming holiday , etc. 

If you look at the 360's recent sales you can probably gather that people are just waiting and still playing their ps2s for now so we don't yet know how some of these "lost" exclusives (besides GTA IV) will really damage the ps3 longterm.I  think they are overlooking Resistance as well. Great launch game and a great online game. And now you can download games and still do other things so that is one lame complaint already taken care of.

I hate waiting, yet the Playstation brand has never let me down. I grew up and Nintendo didn't by deciding to stay behind and abandon me, whereas M$'s greedy @$$ decided to screw me over with the elite. There was a 'top 10 worst consoles' thing they did recently, and the PS3 is supposedly among them. I can't tell you for certain, because I haven't seen it myself. I don't think that's fair to be honest, because I can name ten horrid consoles, if you give me time, that were far, FAR worse. Right now, I can think of the CD-i, the Phantom (aptly named), the Virtual Boy, Atari 5200, PSX, the Jaguar...see that is SIX off the top of my head. Four more have to be out there.

Home is cool and all, but i wish people would stop acting like it'll single-handedly turn around the playstation 3's popularity.
