The main Difference between the PS3's and the Xbox 360's jrpgs (56kb)

Ps3: White Knight Chronicles 1080p 60fps native.
Free online with co-op and fully customisable characters.

vs.

Xbox 360: Star Ocean 900x510 30fps native, none of the above.

Last time I heard this techie leet speak from the cows, they were singing the praises of a glorified demo (GT5: Prologue) and an Xbox port (Ninja Gaiden Sigma). It's like we've come full circle and now we're back at the place be began. Btw, lets see some proof of this thing being native 1080p.

Last we heard from the developers it is actually native 1080p and 60fps. Unless you have a link proving different I'd say you should stop.

All of those have failed and havent met the hype. The only game that actually was good is Blue Dragon, but it had its problems. LO, Lame and dry and a boring attempt to do FF all over again. Basically comparing FF and LO is like comparing GTA and Saints Row. Last Remnant was technically a nightmare and the battles where frustrating at times. ToV was also a technical disaster and basically a remake. So what are the games (jrpgs) you meant?-Reggaeton-

So in your opinion quantity -> quality. Shouldent you be defending the Nintendo Wii?

Pesonally i hope both WKC & SO4 end up being great Rpgs... surely plan to get both later on this year... right now am too busy playing other games and shortly will get SFIV, KZ2 & then RE5... so dont have time to sit down and focus on 2 rpgs atm :)

By default a game will be 720p 30fps on a console. Unless its better or worse it needs to be proven.

You are saying it is better so prove it.

Lost Odyssey, Last Remnant and Tales Of Vesperia are all better then any jrpg on the ps3 imo.

I loved the jrpgs on the ps1 and ps2, but the ps3 has been a dissapointment for jrpgs imo.

Wow, thats a major difference in graphics, that means SO4 will miss two characters and quarter of the story!!

on a serious note, you know what I didn't like about WKC? the fact they changed the combat for their online MMO needs, the gameplay is great but I wanted what I saw in tgs 06.

Anyways both Star Ocean and White Knight Chronicles looks really good, wish both can be ported to the other console eventually. PersonallyI have my fingers crossedfor SO4 to come to the PS3 like Eternal Sonata.

Quality would suggest at least a 7, after all, on GS a 7=Good. I think it's fair to say, anything less than "Good" isn't quality. Most of them scored less then that, I believe. 360 wins on Quantity, but quality... It's kind of up for debate. It's basically, as it stands, VC and Disgaea 3 vs Lost Odyssey and ToV. For quality. According to GS, they're an "even match"
