THE MAIN reason XBOX 360 is better gaming console than PS3 is this

i got both consoles and man the ps3 controller just feels so uncomfortable and awkward.. i just cant get use to it... THe xbox controller on the other hand is the best designed console controller ever....

i mean ps3 is a great system they just need to work on thier controller i mean it really makes the gaming a lot less enjoyable... i mean the 4 shoulder buttons suck... xbox got it right boys

The controller doesn't make the console, the console itself makes it a console.

Am I the only one who has no problems playing with any kind of controller...except for the Jaguar one...

I don't know about you guys but the ps3 controller fits perfectly into my hands. Its comfortable, its button and analog placement are perfect, and it has the perfect amount of weight. Uncomfortable? you guys are nuts.

The PS3 controller feels fine to me. I probably have bigger hands than you and it feels fine

nahh... 360 is a great gaming console cause of its games not its controller.. btw i really like 360's controller however in all honesty the main difference from the DS3 is the position of the left analog & d-pad which are inverted... the rest is practically identical when it comes to button positions.. no big deal, i'm used to both controllers and both work just fine..

its 54% better than the ps3 controller.

Well, you can modify the 360 controller to work on the PS3 I believe so which one is best if you have a modified controller?

Actually....Genesis is the better console. Great controller, andit uses blast processing you know.

well exept for the L2 & R2 buttons maby, those need to get fixed a little. but other than that i think it's fine

Not that I agree with this thread, but I bought this GameStop 360 pad for my PC
and the D-pad was alot smoother and more responsive than the MS version.
The only thing the DS3 D-pad had on it was the plastic covers dividing each direction.

the main reason TC why you fail is that i dont agree...

I prefer the 360 controller for FPS games. i dont like the fact that my thumbs touch on the PS3 controller when i play FPS on the PS3.

I prefer the PS3 controller for football and fighting games.

but overall i think the 360 controller is much better mainly because of its ergonomics.

The Xbox D-Pad makes me want to puke all over my PC when I am playing. It's comfy yes, but so is Dualshock.

Fighting games. I mostly use the D-Pad to navigate menus as well and in that aspect the 360s controller's D-Pad is clunky in that aspect.

For me the main reason is its lineup overall (more A+ exclusives, 360/PC games and multiplats performing a bit better on it)

Of course the controller and online are great reasons also ;)

I own both consoles and I've got to say the controllers aren't that different. IMHO, the PS3's is a little better but I don't think either is going to win much of anything because of their controller.

No doubt the 360 controller is the best to date but the Exclusives, multiplats, especially the awesome PS3 / Wii Excluded games ( PC/360 ) plus XBL & XBLA all add up to .... Win !

It's funny, I came here to expect to read a REAL reason. Instead I get a false statement. For me, PS3 controller is the better. I'm more into fighters and platformers, but the PS3 joystick is far better on my thumbs, and I prefer flatter buttons than those stupid bulges on the 360 controller. 360 controller does have awesome trigger buttons and natural comfort.........but that's it.
