First of all, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is a good game. Second, review scores aren't static, comparable values: P.B. is a good game, worth a 7.5 because it gives you what you expected from a small, independent production. According to Tom McShea, so is TLoZ: SS, but for different reasons.

Oranges and pineapples, my friend. You'd never say Forza Motorsport 3 is as good as Gears of War 2, why assume Tom McShea is saying TLoZ: SS and P.B are equally good, and must therefor score the same?

Ok this is getting out of hand. People need to get over it.

Tom McShea is pretty much my favorite reviewer now. Not because I agree with his scores, but because of all the anger he incites.

Oh no! A guy likes two games equally, so his opinion is bad.

I'm sure there are plenty of hyped up games you also dislike, TC, and lesser games you dislike just as much.
