The game is not only graphically superior to any console game, it literally blows all FPS games out of the freaking water. $%&*! GTA! This game has more draw distance than a panoramic view of a bald eagal. ^&?@ Halo sideways! Crysis has sound, gameplay and so many subtle touches the realism screams in your face. And most importantly, shove @$*$%&* up the $&@ of all 3 consoles because this game shows that DX10 has graphics in its infancy that kill dead anything running at 60fps on a lame 1080i HDTV.
Man i wish i was rich enough to play this game.
My 7900GT runs it mostly high, but I still ordered an 8800GT, couldn't help myself.muscleserge
Roffle! Good one! 7900GT is barely playable on Medium Setting and 1280x800 resolution  1024x768 would be better.
He said mostly at high, not all at high.
Iam using a 7900GTX and its very playable at 1280x1024, all high but with medium shadows/shaders.
I can run it 1024x768 with the XP very high hack, its playable but i wouldn't cool it smooth, and AA is awful at that res.
Think iall be getting a 8800GT though, as amazingas it looks on my current video card i can't help but want more.

Yeah..I doubt you too..No way you get an average of over 35FPS at "all very high" and 1680x1050 resolution. Each graphical setting kills fps by like 50%
Highs settings is believable, but not "very high:

Not all of the graphics settings on Crysis depend on the video card. For example, physics and water effects dont even touch the card. they go straight to the processor. Hence why I run textures on high, physics on high, shaders on low, water effects on high, post processing on high, and everything else on low. I have a 6800 GS.

Prove it. It's not that hard to find. A 7900GT being playable on high settings is laughable at best. Heck I'll make it even easier for you..He said it was "mostly high" settings, I bet you can't find any proof whatsoever that remotely comes close to proving a 7900GT can run Crysis at above an average of 30FPS and on MEDIUM settings, let alone almost high.

lets talk facts here. just facts. We know for a fact that there was a recent driver update which received unanimous praise in regards to increasing Crysis framerates. That, in and of itself, makes your chart illegitimate. And any dumbell can make up a chart like that and pass it off as legit. You need a source and a date.

here you have it, Very High with partial Ultra High settings enabled at ~30 FPS(that is a demanding screenshot because of the large amount of objects in it.)
PS - that screenshot is also compressed to fit... its native resolution was 1280x1024 but imageshack compressed it.
EDIT - That is also on the 169.01 drivers which are now old.
Lol.. n Very high my computer runs Crysis at 15 FPS.. Well that is DX9.
And I got the same card as you have..
Well on High I can run it at some 30 FPS with some lower resolution.. But that is on high..

I dunno how to apologize to you that your PC doesn't get as good performance as others but...

Both running on....

30+ FPS average!!
