October is shaping up to be a big month. Prepare for some broken expectations, flops or games that have lived up or ecxeeded their hype. A month like this effects the current console generation balance of power. If I had to pick an early winner for this month I would put my bet on X360 again. I mean VF5 with Xbox Live, Party Animals, Naruto: Rise of the Ninja, Guiter Hero 3, Beautiful Katamari, Half Life Two the orange box, sega Rally and not to mention the almighty Project Gotham Racing 4.

If I missed any games or have the wrong ones on their let me know.

The Witcher is being released this October for the PC, and from the recent previews/videos, it seems to be shaping up to be a great RPG.Shadow-Eagle

Phantom Hourglass is probably going to be the only game that I going to buy this month. There Castlevania too but I will get it later. I will also rent BWii and Zack and Wiki.

Timeshift...I wonder if they can make it a good game. The demo wasn't good. Can you use a Guitar Hero 2 guitar for Guitar Hero 3? My brother came home from the military and he keeps wanting to buy it for 360 but I keep telling him to wait.JiveT

dont know, but the demo was damn good. hopefully with the extra 3 months since the demo it only got better. because i already loved the controls. thats hard to say for psp shooters.

You forgot Conan!! This game just looks so awesome to me. Does not have a big name in the gaming world (yet?:) ), but the videos look great and the devs were really going for a GOW thing. Comes out the 23rd of Oct._koolgirl_

Did it finally start looking good? I haven't seen it in awhile but it looked really choppy and bad. I love Conan books and comics though.

They have a gameplay video that was posted in either Aug or early Sept. It looks good to me anyway :oops:

I don't follow PSp and Ds games much. But I think I may be buying a PSP soon they have a lot of games I want to play now.

Even though that's a massive release schedule, there's not a single game in that list that I'll be getting.

I would like to pick up both the Oblivion GOTY Edition and Ratchet and Clank Future for my PS3. As a next-gen noob, i've yet to play the former, so October should be a special month. Xbox 360 owners owe it to themselves to pick up Virtua Fighter 5 - truly one of the deepest fighting games ever conceived.

i am going to be probably one of the only people but i am getting Crash of Titans for the 360 the demo was really fun and my friend and I co-oped yesterday it was tons of fun. But definitely a great month for gamers.
