A flight sim? Well obviously, its for hardcore nerds who really fly 12 hour flights and such. IL2 is better imo.

Falcon 4.0? Operation Flashpoint? Armed Assault? Silent Hunter 4?
Flight Simulator is technical in it's own aspects, but it doesn't dominate all.
Edit: And to the poster above - I'll have to agree with you on that one, the stalling effect works quite nicely.
from what i have seen, its really the most hardcore gamenaval
I'm still going to have to tip my hat to Falcon 4.0 for it's ambition. A very rewarding game to learn with.

SB Definately takes the most dedication for your pocket-wise. I've actually bought myself this a couple months ago from ebay. I'm quite surprised that there is still an online community for the game, they play during the weekends at a certain time. And as for the single-player, it's quite fun.
But given the controls, it's still fairly simple to learn.
I might be wrong (since I never actually played it) but Starcraft always sounded and looked pretty damn hardcore.Onizuka36
if you think SC is hardcore, try Warcraft III, that game is way more hardcore because it is about 10 times harder than Starcraft.
If we're only looking a the year 2000 and beyond, I'm going World of Warcraft as the most hardcore. Why? Cause people are basically devoting their lives tothat game....:?

I don't know....I've seen a couple fit friends of mine put on the pounds cause of that game....
If WoW is the casual mmo around here, I'm glad I don't play those type of games. That's all I have to say.
