The most satisfied gamers (according to SW)

If you took the opinions of SW seriously (lol) and tried to judge which gamers are the most satisfied with their gaming platform, it would be - by FAR - the Wii. There are so many threads about graphics, about which system has the best version of a multiplat, how much better [insert platform] is compared to [insert platform]. But where's the Wii? Whenever the Wii is mentioned, people simply like it. They don't argue about it.

According to SW, the most satisfied gamers are Wii gamers, followed by DS and PSP gamers.

Agreed. The sheep know what their system is capable of, and what type of games to expect from Ninty, so they can really just sit back and play games and not split hairs over other things like everybody else does.

I have owned all the systems, and still do except for the 360 (sold it). I like all the systems, but the PC is my favorite, and then the PS3. I am glad I own a Wii, but no it is not my most satisfying. HD at least would have been nice, so Okami doesnt look like a blurry mess.

First of all, you shouldnt assume what people like and want. But being a previous Nintendo Fanboy, I ditched that awful mindset and opened up to all the consoles this gen (and PC last gen). The result is I feel as though I am not biased in any way, jut realistic. I know enjoy Playstation titles as well and PS3 is my favorite console (PC is the best platform). I am happy I have a Wii for first party games (Skyward Sword is my main reason lol), but PS3 is easily my favorite console this gen. When I ask people (I have a poll on the Wii forums) if they would have paid $100 more for the Wii to have better graphics, online, HD, and more, and SOME say no that is way too much and graphics don't matter, which irks me :P. I mean $100 is SO much to spend for a system you are going to be gaming on for around 6 years at least :roll:. If graphics don't matter to people then the vast majority of people who have HDTV's should not have bought those :P.

the wii was outdated from birth. thats like saying everyone likes the game cube now (same thing without the motion controls) cuz nobody is saying anything bad about it.qbell

the wii owners like it, the rest of SW has that unexplainable hate only seen in people who haven't even stayed less than 30ft from one. i'd have guessed PC gamers are the happiest/most satisfied, what with the elitism and the snobby posts and whatnot :PBrunoBRS

We are most satisified because we always know what we are going to get, as we build the PC ;). And it gets tons of games as well, so no problem there. I like my Wii, but seriously I paid tons of money for motion controls really. I mean that is all that was really added to it over the cube. It is a quality system, but were motion controls honestly worth the new console you shelled the money out for? THe only reason I bought it is for the games, most if not all of which (Metroid prime is much better with the Wiimote) can be done on the gamecube paddle with virtually the same graphics.
