The N- Word

Okay so I was playing COD4 online, and this black (aka African American) man was saying the n word, so I decided it was okay to start using it. He got mad at me, and I dont understand. Now I have started using the phrase Nig-Nog to talk about african american people. Is this a normal phase of gaming to go through? Am I the only one?

The only time i use the word is to catch these type of people out. I like it when they go 'Hey man you have no idea what pain that word inflicts etc etc'. My response is usually, if its such a painful word for you why are you calling everyone you meet by this vulgar piece of langauge? Why are you encouraging its use? They either go silent or hurl abuse at you.

it's sickening. at my new job i met these two guys, and literally within 10 minutes were throwing the word around like it was nothing. it's unbelievable.

but yeah, it's even worse when your trying to play a decent video game and someone says stuff like that. i've been told to "shut up yankee" by a scottish guy. it just makes your blood boil, and i feel sorry for anyone who has ever really, truely been a target of real racism.

I must admit my friends throw it around in custom games in a joking sort of context. I cant stand when people mouth of though and use it as an insult every 30 seconds or everytime they die or kill someone. I mean really you'd expect some people could speak sentences without the word.

If you feel guilt about say things, than that should be the first sign for you to dont say or use it.

k so first off I'm black and I still never get this stupid pollitcally correct saying of African American. Really just say black its alright because I and the majority all call ya'll white. I just find it funny no one calls asians yellow or something.

Now as for the whole n-word thing I feel that if that guy is calling everyone else a n-word then he has no right to take offence to the word. Personally I call everyone a N- word (can we type it or not) so if someone says it to me I got no problems. Now if you say it in an offensive way then yes its a problem and the fact that you said that you talk about all blacks in nig nag pretty much gives me a warrant to wanna beat your ass down. If you wanna say the word whatever if your making fun of people any word is pretty much wrong.
