The new classics

I was wondering... every gen has had their share of games that are classics now, so in your opinion which games this gen (so far) are bound to become the new classics of thise gen??

So far: MGS4, Halo 3, SMG, GTA 4 (even though i thought it was crap), Fallout 3, LBP.

Potentially: AC2, UC2

I have a feeling that Portal will get clas-sic status. Mario Galaxy, MGS4, Halo 3 (even if it's not my type of game), Gears of War, and hopefully Uncharted 2 will get clas-sic status as well.

On a side note, I think the three biggest clas-sics of last gen were LoZ:WW, Halo: CE, and Half Life 2.

Yeah, but you can get an idea on which ones will prevail on the memory of gamers long enough to become classics.

I mean, I can see Uncharted becoming a classic, Gears, and yeah MGS4 (AAAE FTW ;) )

I could care less, "classics" is just another word for "the most popular games".

MGS4 will be epic, no one will forget about this one since the story is "devastating"!

Uncharted series, i bet those as well, naughtydog left great marks on the previous gens, like crash bandicout series, and im expecting uncharted 2 to be the GotY too

Uncharted 2 looks to be epic. Possibly God of War 3 aswell.Thats probably it though (MGS4 will be as remembered as MGS3... kinda remembered)
