What do you think the next exclusive that Microsoft will steal from Sony?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Microsoft can do just fine without stealing anything from Sony's lineup. Microsoft has their own games.
God of War is OWNED by Sony...so it wont be "stolen" by anyone...ever. Same with Uncharted.
The producers of MGS (Kojima, mainly) seems pretty adament about it only being on Ps3.
1. Because MGS made its name on the PS
2. Kojima thinks MGS won't work on the 360, or would take too much disc-swapping for a full port (to be fair - no one knows until they try...but they apparently havent even tried porting it)
Yakuza - heck, still hasnt been released in USA, and might not ever get released here... sicne 360 sales in Japan are so low, you have youre reason why it wasnt released on 360.
FFVXIII - who knows? MS had to drop a few boats of money just to get FFXIII and have it same release day in NA... they might not want to do the same for FF Versus XIII.

nothing. they've taken everything insecure. i mean honestly all they've gotten is RPGs. they'll never get anything the majority of the ps3 fanbase cares about.
Everyone knows Im a huge Sony supporter... but THAT is a lie. Tekken, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy...These are games that have traditionally been PS Exclusives.nothing. they've taken everything insecure. i mean honestly all they've gotten is RPGs. they'll never get anything the majority of the ps3 fanbase cares about.

wait... what? Why would Microsoft have to pay for a game to be on there system AS WELL AS a competitor? Judging by your Avatar and sig, I can't help but assume that you are simply trying to find an illogical reason to hate Microsoft for "stealing" a Sony exclusive, when it was neither Sony NOR Microsoft's final decision. It all came down to SE as a business deciding that it was financially more beneficial.FFVXIII - who knows? Yep, unless I see a link proving otherwise. I'm going to assume SE made the jump to multiplat, as a smart business move in this economy. Especially with FFXIII being a tested franchise.

Why would they have to? The Final Fantasy series jumped ship from Nintendo to Sony. Why wouldn't they go to Microsoft, in a time where game dev costs are increasing, and draw in a larger profit?
Your fanboyism seems to stand in the way of general common sense. However, I think that's in the definition of a fanboy.
idk but this whole buying exclusives is really taking alot of the fun out of this generation ill tell you. What ever happen to the days of, oh well, were just gonna have to make a game that beats the competition. not just, make everything that we can multiplatform
tough we know they just might, keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow (i also own a 360, its just that i dont think mgs 4 can be done with out cutting stuff out, therefore i also think it cant be mgs 5 as downgrading the game from 4 to 5 wouldnt seem logical) MAYBE ZOE3 multiplat or a whole new IPMicrosoft can do just fine without stealing anything from Sony's lineup. Microsoft has their own games.

Resident Evil, Tekken, Devil May Cry, etc. made their name on the Playstaion. They didn't stop the devs from making the titles multiplat when they saw that the 360 is a serious console. Everyone said Final Fantasy XIII would never be on the 360. Well, those people learned the hard way, never to say never. It's ultimately Konami's decision to port MGS4 to the 360. There is no reason why it wouldn't work. Everyone knows the only reason MGS4 takes up a full BluRay disc is because of the uncompressed audio. You compress that, and it'll fit easily on 2, or maybe 3 discs. The 360 would have no problem running MGS4, and on the 360, the game wouldn't have that annoying install that it does every mission before you can play it. I couldn't care less, as I am not a MGS. But, everyone here should have learned by now that "never" is a bad word, that should never be said. :)[QUOTE="MADVLAD123"]tough we know they just might, keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow (i also own a 360, its just that i dont think mgs 4 can be done with out cutting stuff out, therefore i also think it cant be mgs 5 as downgrading the game from 4 to 5 wouldnt seem logical) MAYBE ZOE3 multiplat or a whole new IP MGS4 can be doneby compressing stuff...There is nothing in MGS4 that the 360 can't handle.Microsoft can do just fine without stealing anything from Sony's lineup. Do your research if you dont know why. Here we go again. So, since you're making the claim that MS had to pay for the same day release of FFXIII, I'm guessing you have some sort of proof to back it up?The exclusive line up for the 360 is that bad isn't it that you want games from another console. LMAO BTW GOW3 is published by SONY and the chances of it going to the 360 or PC is very slim. How long till the 360 loses all of its "exclusives" to the PC?
Now its arrogance that lost them the exclusive?Don't you mean the next exclusive that Sony will let go because of their arrogance? You can't steal something if it secured well enough.

quite a long time, wikipedia lists more than 80 games that are 'only on 360'The exclusive line up for the 360 is that bad isn't it that you want games from another console. this made me laugh, the only game on there that is exclusive to sony is god of war, resident evil was released on the sega saturn, which means it started out multiplat, metal gear started out on the MSX and metal gear solid was released on PC as well as PS1, and final fantasy started out on the nintendo, how the hell do MS 'steal' a game that is traditionally multi system?LOL cows really are getting desperate, just enjoy your games, who cares who is 'winning'delta3074Why would a cow start a thread like this?
[QUOTE="T-Aldous"]Now its arrogance that lost them the exclusive? You bet it is. Its their arrogance that made them believe that they could sell a console at $599 in the first place that is one of the factors that led them to be in last place. Thus, their market share is not as much compared to the other consoles. It is also their arrogance that makes them think that they do not have to give developers any incentive to be exclusive to their console, even with the least amount of marketshare.Don't you mean the next exclusive that Sony will let go because of their arrogance? You can't steal something if it secured well enough.

On which platform do you think Final Fantasy started on? Zing. Sony didn't steal it either. They only opened doors, just like MS.Get your own ******* games microsoft !!!
sorry just had to say that lol
Generalmojo
r6 your acutally wrong metal gear was started on the nes,
and it was on xbox and gc before ,, so dont hold your breath on that one,
basically anything final fantasy castlevania mgs test drive 007 related , ,
started on the nes,
sony didnt steal any games, , they may have stolen ideas but thats beside the point , nor has microsoft , besides ideas lol
but the next exclusive well ,
if theres any left thats not owned by sony,
theyll be next
why blame MS with stealing if devs want to releasetheir games on different platforms?? i find that stupid..
