Drank it 4 hours ago dude, if you ever drank before, you would know that the stuff wears off after awhile....The release and massive budgeting behind Kinect seems to speak otherwise. Anyway, what happened to you being drunk? Quick recovery I see ;)

Thanks professor... Without you, what would I know?
Considering what you supposedly drank, that's a pretty damn good recovery.
Doubt it. They would have to announce it and have a software launch ready by this upcoming e3.. and with kinect just launched and doing well there is not chance they would kill it off that quickly..
They need to give developers time to actually make launch games too.
That said, I really don't think we are ready for a new generation of gaming. I know it has already been 5 years (normal console life-span)... but think about it. Production costs are already super high for current gen games, and our economy is in no shape for its consumers to jump into a new console.
I honestly think external upgrades are the way to go at this point. Wii motion-plus, Move, and Kinect are examples of this being a success.

maybe thats what the mayans were trying to warn us about, the Xbox will destroy the world with the SRROD (Super Red Ring of Death) which will cause the the system to explode and cause a nuclear blast...
MICROSOFT IS GONNA DESTROY THE WORLD IN 2012!!!
The APU is a cpu/gpu hybrid. To be honest, it's performance right now is down right terrible for most games today. I'd hate to see how it handles games that the next xbox will produce. AMD have a lot of work to do before it's used in the next xboxWhat exactly is an APU? sounds wimpy :P

I hope its true maybe it will be able to produce crysis style graphics. If that ever turns out to be true bye bye pc gamingbigboss5akAt this point i doubt it could handle crysis at any reasonable level. The APU model that AMD have now can barely run today's games. There is a demo for the APU running Aliens vs predators and it doesn't look pretty. But there is still time to iron out the issues.

But this cpu/gpu hybrid is still fairly new and it is going to take 3-5 years before it becomes an option along side standard cpu/gpu components. What exactly is an APU? sounds wimpy :P

There have been dozens of hardware rumors regarding next gen consoles and handhelds over the last year or two. They're just speculation. MS may be looking at parts but they won't be putting out a new console in 2012.

I love how people say that this would be a "mistake". Nintendo is definately releasing a system very soon(most likely 2012 also). Everyone can't wait for their system, but if MS or Sony show anything everyone will cry....wtfIt would be a mistake. My guess if 2013 or 2014

Auxiliary Power Unit, used to power aircraft systems when engines are not running.

Why not? Aircraft are powerful, it would be beneficial to be seen in the same light.

Well the 360 was loud enough to be a aeroplane. So much for being completely drunk. Anyway no link so it's only speculation.soulitaneHaha ditto. If the next Xbox does come out in 2012 I won't be getting it. I'm perfectly content with my PS3 and 360.

If they released new systems the would sell out fast just like history has told us.
I don't see why a new XBOX couldn't be released that is Kinect compatible. That'd be the only I could see them doing it. Maybe no controller, just Kinect.Deathtransitno....please no no no

No, I really mean it, I spent $400 on my Ps3 in June 2008 and $135 on my 360 this past September. Not to mention the hundreds of dollars I've spends on games and accessories. Trust me, considering I'm still catching up on a plethora of Ps2 games, I'll be fine with my Ps3 and 360 for the foreseeable future.
with me just buying one on friday past i damn well hope not.I want at least another 3-4 years before next gen.
I think afteer the recession companies wont jump, the only one i can see jumping to a more current gen spec in the next 2 years is ninty. The other 2 dont need to, they need to focus on getting games out till at least 2013 imo.
