I once hit a Gamecube with a sledge hammer. Then I popped in Metroid Prime, and started playing.
Well, the sledge hammer part might not have happened to me,though, but I've seen it.
Power surge = Wii is in for repairs!
EDIT: But to make up for that lol, my Gamecube dropped a couple times (no damage) my N64 still works fine, and my SNES worked while I had it.

How'd you know!? Same here, well the power surge thing. Power went out, Wii turned off. Power came back on, Wii won't. I've had two Gamecubes because my first one overheated. My little brother left my first Gameboy Color at Stone Mountain in Georgia if that counts for anything. My second GBC went through the wash and worked fine after it dried out.
I own a working NES, with games that still work without a hitch. I dropped my SP in a parking lot once, nothing happend, and it was a hard drop lol22Toothpicks
Surely you have to blow into them once or twice.
Does anyone know of a GameCube that has EVER broken? I don't.
NES: Cracked in half the first day i got it, OUT OF NOWHERE!!!!!
SNES: Put my Megaman X game in it and the stupid thing overheated, nintendo refused to send me a new one.
N64: evertime i played played OoT i got a catridge read error
Gamecube: Brock into pieces when i dropped it on the ground, Nintendo needs to make surdier consoles
Wii: the blue light in the front started blinking red and it wouldnt turn on and it scratches all my GC discs
I knocked my Wii over shambling, half asleep, to turn off my alarm clock. It fell and crashed into my cable modem on the floor, coming to rest in a pitiful-looking heap off its stand with the little doors awkwardly askew. As you can imagine, a healthy stream of obscenities flowed forth because I thought I "broke my Wii!" I picked it up, reattached everything, then turned it on and...ZOMG, it worked!:D I even started up and a game...and that worked, too! In fact, it still works as well as the day I got it! I managed to wipe the black impact marks off and only have a few little scratches on one edge.

I want Nintendo to take care of this right away. Just based on the fact that I support them and buy nothing else. The wiiconnect overheats and destroys your gpu when on "standby". The Wii displays random flashing green pixels on screen either during game play or at the menu. I reported the problem and just got my new system started mere seconds ago...works like a charm. I hope they address this issue sooner than later because like many I am proud of their commitment to "durable" products.
PS- I would't sound like such a deuch if I wasn't so drunk.Â
When I was young, my brother and I got in a fight, so to make me even more mad than I already was, he picked up my SNES and threw it down on the ground as hard as he could. Miraculously my SNES still works to this day, so I get to still play my favorites games Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda: ALttP, Super Mario RPG, and Chrono Trigger.
Actual damages include:
-Broken n64 joysticks
-Broken R and L buttons on original ds
-Pokemon silver's battery life for save games died on me (If it's off for 3 seconds, I lose all my saved data)
-2 scratched gamecube disc, not sure quite how that hapened but if I do something wrong, my game now freezes.
-Original NES died on me several years ago, replaced it with nes2.
-Eating any food around my ds lite will make it look greesy and old

Try unplugging the Wii, then plugging it back in. It worked for me.Please Log In to post.
