Region Lock .... The Wii-U. Is Nintendo going to get rid of it now that MS has drop region lock on the Xbox One? Do people care about it that much or is it not that important to care about?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
their games actually sell...so theyd be dumb to remove it.

Yeah I heard this one is setting records.

As far as I'm concerned Wii U is consumer locked.
Ain't nobody buyin that trash
BPoole96
Lol.
"Consumer locked" I don't think you quite understand both video games or the english language.
For me, the only next-gen console to own is all three. (and a nice PC as well)

As I previously stated, please see above.^
But thanks for making sure that I wasn't wrong in my assumption about you and your ineptitude buddy. You're a swell chap ;)
On topic:
- The Wii U is a great machine with (an admittedly rocky start, and...) nothing but potential that's finally about to be reached this year and into next as evidenced by this year's E3.
- The PS4 definitely seems to be doing the right things in the face of Microsoft's many mistakes lately, although I still question how long it will take the PS4 to get over its own rocky start. Not many games immediately to look forward to. But I don't mind. I happily bought the Wii U on launch day and as always it takes time to build up steam, so I don't mind doing the same for the PS4. (I have mine more than halfway paid for at this very moment. Proudly.)
- The Xbox One is of course it's own beast, rife with issues. But....they reversed the DRM and used games restrictions. Dramatic reactions or not, I say KUDOS! I will now buy one. And at the end of the day, onstage at E3 they did technically kill it in terms of software. So; no online check in, used games and sharing allowed, and kick ass games like Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, and Halo...and I'll give it the same chance I will the PS4 and already have the Wii U.
So. Previous point reaffirmed: All three systems. Worth it in time. Game on, have fun with it, and quit bitching.
Peace.
