You should read this, idiot :

You really have no idea. The Order is 1080p game in 2.40:1 ratio
Not sure if this was settled later on, but no @imt558 this is not correct.
Resolution (regarding displays') is the measure of the number x & y pixels. You are muddling the SI units.
Resolution is # of x & y pixels only.
Aspect ratio is the ratio of the number of x pixels : number of y pixels.
Pixel Density is the number of pixels in a unit area.
To say something is 1080p in a 2.4:1 ratio, is saying that the display is showing 2.4 * 1080 pixels in it's x-axis and 1080 in it's y-axis. Or 2592 (x-axis) : 1080 (y-axis). Multiply those numbers together and divide by the unit area of the display and you now have pixel density (or image quality as some of you are incorrectly using the term in substitution of).
If the game is rendering only 800 y-axis pixels, then it is 2560 x 800 on a display that is capable of rendering 2560 x 1080. But that does not make it 1080p, that makes it 2560 x 800 and gives it an aspect ratio of 2560/800 : 1 or 3.2:1 in game on a display that is capable of running 1080p in a 2.4:1 aspect ratio.
Remember the display itself is capable of rendering in 1080p, but that does not make the game 1080p. After all I can make doom 2 to run in 800 x 600 on a 1920x1080 display, but that does not make the game 1920x1080.
