Sony UK MD Fergal Gara has mentioned The Order 1886 as “coming later in the year”

matching a previous

Autumn release date

suggested by tweets between Sony Santa Monica and Ready At Dawn.

The previous Autumn release date was inferred from tweets between Sony Santa Monica‘s director of technology Tim Moss and Ready At Dawn‘s founder Andrea Pessino.

At this morning’s PS Vita Slim announcement event Gara stated “we have The Order 1886 coming later in the year”, matching that Fall/Autumn date. He also mentions

Driveclub sandwiched in-between the upcoming Infamous Second Son and Ready At Dawn’s shooter

So far, there are three first-party PS4 triple A titles to launch this year: inFamous: Second Son, #DRIVECLUB and The Order: 1886.

Sony could still announce first-party triple A games for a Holiday 2014 release (similar to how Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack launched in the same year as they were announced). Uncharted 4 also has no release date yet and with some luck, it'll launch this year as well.

Not sure how it can be delayed further if it never got a release date after the first.

Regardless, this is a solid first party release schedule. Combine that with the better performing multiplatform titles and this is probably the best year for a PlayStation console since 2001/2002.

I'm happy about this news. Take your time and make the best game possible. But as the other poster stated they never released a solid release date. In any event, come one, come all to the P2M club where by golly fun will be had by all.

what a complete lack of surprise testers are playing it in beta and knowing there is no way they can release it.

Show some damn patience, people. We all want these games to be as good as possible, right? There will be numerous quality titles to play on all systems this year. If you can't find enough good games to play in 2014 I think it's seriously time to re-think your life.

Should definitely be polished now. Maybe allowed the delay so it could be a proper game and there could be a 1 year alternating cycle between Drive Club and Gran Turismo? That would be ideal. The question is will drive club have enough content to hold you off until GT? From what they have shown so far it seems like a slim picking of cars

seems like sony only gives you good news to ide bad news under it, Look we got a new ps4 coming out but you will have to pay for online, look we got THE ORDER coming out but one of our supposed to be launch title you might not see until JUNE, on and on and on.

If you actually believe all those games will get "AAA", you're crazy. Infamous SS is probably the only game on the list that has a real good chance. MLB The Show didn't get a "AAAE" score on Gamespot in 2012 or 2013. It's average is 87 on Metacritics. The Order & Drive Club are both unproven. So we'll have to wait and see. You may want to shine the crystal ball a little clearer as you are assuming what may never be. Planetside 2 isn't even exclusive. Pc version got an 85 from Gamespot and has 84% on Metacritic. It's a very good game, as I've played it. Will it be better on the PS4 then on the PC? I have Infamous SS, Driveclub & The Order 1886 preordered.

Lol I feel bad for PS4 owners who are looking forward to Driveclub.....keeps getting delayed, like the GT series......meanwhile I've clocked over 150 hours with Forza 5 and am eagerly awaiting Horizon 2's release. But hey, like the old saying goes "Good things come to those who wait".

Uhhh. What? Motorstorm was a solid franchise on PS3. Got a problem with racing across collapsing rooftops (Motorstorm Apocalypse)?

That being said, this game seems to be a different animal since it is going for a more realistic look/style than the insane over-the top tracks in Motorstorm.

Drive Club didn't have a date set after the first delay.

Also if we go by that people would have kill 100,000 helgans by the time Halo recycle 2 appear,the xbox one has no exclusive shooters,and Titanfall isn't one..

Im dissapointed Drive Club is going to be even later than anticipated. If it releases close to when Forza Horizon2 does then I will most likely just play horizon. Cant wait for MLB the show this year

i guess it is technically a game series but other than that what ever stood out about the series.

i played every one of them and they were as shallow as a puddle and instantly forgettable.

anyway i don't think it is much of a stretch to predict this game as being just as forgettable as motorstorm was.

I agree Motorstorm was nothing special but for Drive Club they supposedly added devs and designers from PGR, Grid, GT and Wipeout, with the biggest addition being PGR's lead designer Ged Talbot

Drive Club looks horrible, but the PS4 has a better lineup so far in 14

I'm right though. Xbone 2014 is very barebones for now. Maybe if more details of SO and QB come out and they show themselves as being worthy of attention then that might change.
