The PS3 and Wii are universal consoles, the XBOX 360 is not

People need to understand this.

Like 80% of the XBOX 360's sales are from America. The XBOX 360 has been like American Football, only popular in the U.S.

The Wii and PS3 are like soccer/basketball.

Another thing people need to understand: the Importance of Japan.

Most of the great most popular devs are Japanese based(Konami, Square, Capcom, Namco). Most of the best selliing games come from Japan.

The fact that XBOX 360 is an American made console and does horrible in Japan are a couple reasons you do not usually see most top Japanese Devs putting their top games on XBOX consoles. IF you ever see a Japanese game on the XBOX 360, chances are it's a PS3 game too. Games like MGS4, Tekken, and Final Fantasy XIII will stay on the PS3 exclusively.

The XBOX 360 gets lucky with a couple japanese companies like Capcom, who are known flip-floppers. But it doesn't change that much.

They also need to understand that those are some of the major reasons why the XBOX 360 has zero chance of winning this gen.

It's not a knock on the XBOX 360, it's just facts.

Just becuase Microsoft decided to market it as if it was a movie doesn't mean it was bigger than Spiderman 3 or Shrek.Halo 3's sales are inflated compared to movies just for the fact that Halo 3 was being sold for 60,70,120 dollars. THe Average Movie ticket is 10. It didn't hurt sales of movies, millions upon millions of more people still went to go see Spiderman 3 over buying Halo 3.

It never topped the charts in Japan. And it did not live up to hype, quite overrated actually.

You can actually go back 9 or 10 years ago and games like Final Fantasy VIII which sold more in Japan alone it's first few days, than Halo 3 did in it's first week worldwide.
