Both 360 and PS3 are selling well. The gap has been closed quite nicely on the PS3's front, but that's because the system turned out to be fantastic (after all the doom and gloom at the beginning).
In retrospect all three systems can claim victory this generation...
Wii: Obviously has the most market share and has come back nicely from a disapointment last generation.
360: Have dug into Sony's market share dominance and basically split the HD living room space with the PS3. Also managed to turn a profit after never being able to do that last generation.
PS3: Lost market share dominance but promoted new format that will ensure future profits.

Claiming the PS3 lost market share it never had is odd. I mean all those PS2 are still out there... I don't even own a PS3 just saying... I don't like MS too much but Halo >>>> Everything else so...
