Do you call a PC a gaming machine? NO because it does alot more than just PLAY GAMES.. when he said that the ps3 isn't a gaming machine, he meant The PS3 is so much more than a gaming machine, it's a gaming machine and a media center/computer. The DS is a gaming machine, because all it does is play games, the PSP is not a gaming machine because it does more, like plays movies, music, web browser, Operating systems. retrib

To rephrase it:  The ps3 is not strickly for gaming only. It is much much more.
