Apparently the PS3 has sold more then the PS1 and 2 and it has sold more then the X360 did at launch even without the Euro launch. Sure the Wii is outselling the PS3 but according to many analyis the PS3 will win in the long term but the Wii will look like the winner for the first year or two.

I'm all for hyping PS3 but I don't think February's numbers will be much different from January's. Now March's numbers that's a different story.

It hasn't really caught up because it is still behind. And considering its a new system thats pretty bad.
But I think the PS3 will overtake the Xbox 360 in a couple of months

You people are talking about us Europeans as if we get up every morning. Bow before our great leader Sony. Then go to work while playing PSP in the train. During our lunchbreak we hook up our PS2s to the TV in the break room, play some games. Get back to work while secretely looking for PS3 news. And on our way back home we pick up a new PS2 game to play.
Wasnt Japan buying loads of PS2s too last gen. What happened to that?
