Hey, the Nintendo 64 wasn't a bad system. I had one, it had a few gems.

But face it, sales and public opinoin have shown that Sony has lost it this gen. Look at the numbers, the PS3 will have to start selling like the Wii for all of 2008 while the 360 sells ZERO for it to take over in sales. Nevemind fanboys who said the PS3 would be caught up already (while the 360 is still selling 2-3 times more every month).

I liked N64 more then PS1, I only played Gran Turismo, Crash Bandicoot, and MGS on PS1, but N64 I had like 20 games the most I had for any system really, Donkey Kong, Mario 64, Wave Race 64(I was just reminded of this earlier today i was like omg i remember that game lol), Star Fox 64, Goldeneye, cant remember what else right now.

I find it funny how Lemmings laugh at the PS3 and call it a failure because it has no good games. Then all Cows defend it saying it does have good games and list a bunch of good exclusives and multi-plats.

Then Lemmings laugh at Cows and how the PS3 was supposed to trounce the 360 in sales out the gate. Then Cows come back with the retort "Hey, the PS3 has been able to sell 6 million without any games, just wait till the good games come!!!"

The N64 had some of the greatest games ever made, like Super Mario 64, Goldeneye 007, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Smash Bros, Star Fox 64, and Mario Kart 64. lol i like your humor :) but ps3 does have good games... uncharted, ratchet & clank, heavenly sword, resistance, warhawk, motorstorm...

not that i don't play my 360. on my 360 i have gears of war, halo 3, mass effect, and bioshock.

so far in terms of games i think 360's are more fun. but wait till 2008. just wait. look at my other post "the future: PS3 vs XBOX"

Let me add: Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Turok 1 and 2, Star Wars: Racer, Wrestlemania 2000, and Road Rash 64. Sony can only dream of PS3 being as good as N64. They'd plotz if it was, but it's not.

N64 didok. It didn't have the most sales and the best games ...... but it did have enough sales and enough great games to be considered a good system. I heve a feeling that the ps3 is going to beat it in every way and people will look back on it for some many more good things than the N64. I think maybe the PSP and N64 will end up being more comparable.

nah i'd say ps3 is sony's xbox 1 if xbox's big hitters hadn't come out till its 2nd year

although this gen is shaping up to be a genesis/snes type gen, where the previous gen was a huge one-system-dominating gaming industry defining gen and the next gen is a stalemate for several years before a clear winner appears

Wel I dont think that the sp3 cxan win now. But I think that soon it will be selling more than the 360. its not always about the overall sales, but which is more popular towards the end when the consoles have been maximised.

The 360 was built for the short run, its obvious. MS got the console out first but in doing so made a faulty console and somenthing that can never match up to the ps3.

But remember this, think how many people are still in last gen, and will be. TONS of people have ps2's, so many the 360 could never match it. And when they decide to go next gen who will thaey choose? the MS console with no series they know about. only with the knowledge that it is faulty and with halo becoming old? or sonys console with familiar series such as MGS4 and GT? I vote ps3. The reason the ps2 is still selling is because sony knows this, which is why MS is no where near safe. Sony has had years to build up its reputation for quality. And most people will go for the console which will have all the charicters and games that they have become interested in.

also when the deal gets even sweeter with amazing graphics an d maybe a price drop in the future, I can see the ps3 winning. Especially next christmas once the console has it games. I just hope sony has enough ps3's to meet demand...
