The PS3 took 2 years to get a respectable library

MGS4 was great, but im talking fall 2008 when PS3 finally got "plural" AAA+ games.

I find it funny that cows feel they are on top now when they are

- last place

- took 2 years to get their first AAAEs (360 got PD0 AAAE and GRAW AAAE within 5 months)

- and still have a total of less games and less A, AA, and AAA

Anytime news emerges regarding a Square Enix project, the videogame community tends to listen -- and it listens pretty hard. That's why we were intrigued when a mysterious screenshot popped up in a recent issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine. Although both the screenshot and the text that accompanies it offer very little in the way of details, we imagine this could be an image for a totally new game, separate from Square Enix's existing franchises.

The screenshot depicts a warrior with a massive sword slung across his back (go figure). The silver-haired figure appears to be standing on some sort of scaffolding that overlooks a large, partially mechanical canyon. That's all we know.

There's a slim chance that this screenshot could come from a rumored Square Enix Los Angeles Project, but official details are essentially non-existent. We'll keep our eyes peeled for further information.

I don't understand why PS3 is considered in last place cause as gamers i don't very many of us are happy if your console sells more. PS3 has a great game library and as far is i see PS3 and 360 are neck and neck to me in terms of great games while the wii is laggin behind but thats just my prespective. btw the only reason PDZ got a 9.0 is becuase it's a launch title also i still don't understand how GRAW is 360 exclusive when the PC version is the same

dude im a 360only ownerand i will tell you right PS3's future is alot brighter then ours, when it comes to games that is i dont give a crap about sales

If you compare the pre-launch hype to what teh PS3 actually delivered in its first 18 months,you'll see its software lineup stank worse than a crack-whore's underpants.

I'm still glad I have a PS3 :)

meh. just fanboys being silly. the PS3 had great games to play before it got a good run of AAAe's. the 360 continues to have great games, despite what cows say. the Wii has many great games, too. its SW. logic goes here to die.

So I guess "You went _ years with AAAe" is the lems equivalent to cows playing the one year head start card. I mean, I guess it's easier for you to look back on 2007 considering lems are finding a shortage of things to own cows with this year, but seriously I gotta ask, so what? :|

Only sony fanboys think PS3 is something very special. Give PS3 another name or brand and im sure it would have the same destiny of systems like 3DO, CDI or CD32. Now it have some good games but unfortunatly theres better and cheapper options out there...

If sony does a price cut and MS counters it won't be of any effect. Once the PS3 price crosses a certain threshold it will sell like hotcakes even if 360 gets a price drop. a $299 PS3 is alot better than a $150 360 arcade.

fact is most people dont care for the bells and whistles. They just want games. Last I checked, an Arcade can play the same multiplats as a PS3. Again, this is games, NOT INCLUDING the bells and whistles the consoles offer ontop of gaming.
