Good for you. I was stating my opinion, so I don't know what the hell you're trying to get at. I thought that it was rather obvious, since, ya know, I am the one saying it, but I suppose I have to say "in my opinion" after the end of every post, even though it should be implied.Well, to answer your question, the PS3 isn't worth getting; the360is. See i can do it too

Yes, but that money could go towards a game, or a gym membership. Over time (40 times 5 is 200), the money really adds up. And for some like me, who only ocassionally plays online, it doesn't seem worth it, but I still want to play online. Ya get me? I say the PS3 is built better (despite my first PS3 breaking down after 12 days), has a better library of games, has a more promising future, has more value, free online, and looks cooler. The 360 has Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts... Of course, this is MY OPINION, but I can't think of a single other exclusive I would want. Most exclusives on both consoles are overrated (mostly PS3's), but at least the PS3 ones are at least better than average. The 360? Not so much. Again, this is MY OPINION.xbox live is like 5 bucks a month get over it....live is totally worth it.

show me a gym membership for 5 dollars a month....also, if you buy a longer subscription you'll save some money
the PS3 does not have a better library of games (this is based on oppinion you know)...a smaller one too (fact)
it does not have a more promising future...360 is still far ahead in sales
define "value"...if you mean that useless blu-ray player it has which is pushing up it's price...then no
You're saying that most of the PS3's exclusives are overrated yet they are better than average which the 360 ones are not?
The only thing I can agree with you here is that the choice one makes when buying a console is mainly based on oppinion...If somebody looking to buy a console likes the PS3's exclusives more, then I wouldn't tell him to get an xbox.

Sign up for a few years and you've paid for the difference between the two consoles. As long as the PS3's sticker price is a primary argument against it, I don't see why LIVE's cost wouldn't be talked about.

Yes, and that's a few years of a premium service as opposed to a train wreck. Honestly, do PS3 only users like being beta testers?
Does the PS3 have better features than the 360? Does the Xbox 360 have a better interface than the PS3? Is the PS3 worth getting even though its at such a high price? Is the Xbox 360 worth getting even though it has the RROD and even though most of its features on Xbox Live you have to pay for while the PS3 you don't?iNFamousGamer13
Does the PS3 have better features? Pretty clearly, yes. Others can argue they may not help it make better games but arguing that features like BluRay playback and built in wifi aren't beyond what you get on any 360 model is silly.
Does the 360 have a better interface than the PS3? That's rather subjective. I personally didn't like the old blade system, but haven't used NXE. You could spend 5 mins on YouTube I'm sure and make up your own mind.
Is the PS3 worth getting at its price? Absolutely. They are still spending more to make PS3s than what they sell them for. They pack a lot of technology into those black boxes. So they aren't ripping you off.
Is the 360 worth getting despite RROD and paid online? Absolutely. With the cheapest SKU, you can get into HiDef gaming for half the price of the PS3. I don't know anyone who ever got the cheapie version, but it's there. MS backs the 360 with a really nice 3 year warranty, so there's no reason to be overly concerned with console failure. And LIVE? Well, I don't think LIVE should be a paid service, but it's polished and there are various deal on the web to help lower the cost.

I don't know what you're referring to... I've always been able to play my games online, and that's what it's all about, right? They didn't spend years getting that to work, it worked day one. They have added other features consistently... just like Live has. Really, do you have an example, or were you just spouting some fanboy line?

I am referring to PSN. Friends list worked from day one? Private voice chat across games from day one?Sony must pay you to post on these forums..
How do people call themselves gamers and not atleast aspire to own all systems. I lack a PC rig only because of money and easy of use reasons! I just don't get people grouping up because of a console. It's just retarded to me!
If I had a 360, I am sure that there are plenty of good games I would enjoy playing. Would I want to pay $60.00 every year for XBL, No way.
I do have a PS3, and there are plenty of games for me to play.
In the end, it is all about reliability. I enjoy playing games. i do not enjoy worrying if a console is going to break, and then waiting a couple of weeks to get it back. Then worrying when it is going to break again.
For that reason alone, I will not buy a 360. I would love to have both systems. If I could have a reliable 360, and a PS3, I still wouldn't pay a penny to MS to get Online.
Bingo! Fanboys are not really "gamers", just hardware fans who know very little about true gaming. How do people call themselves gamers and not atleast aspire to own all systems.
