The PS3 is the most powerful of the next gen consoles. If developers used the technology correct, there would be a great deal more games like Uncharted, which well known game sites are already dubbing the most realistic console game ever. This tech can also be used to the lifetime of the console, outliving all of its competitors.

Fan Base: All other systems have equally large fanbases, also, no crap playstation is synonymous with gaming (ITS A VIDEO GAME MACHINE)

Games: I could name just as many games in each category on any other console, and would people quit calling the wii a minigame console only, they have a few minigame-games to draw in more people to their company, more than could be said about "teh mighty PS3"

Bluray: Anybody who needs to watch movies already has a DVD or Bluray player, so including one when its so expensive, imo, is a waste of money.

System Power: When you have a console like the 360 with almost as much power and better games, and a PC that can support graphics beyond any console, leet PS3 power is a bit unnecessary.

Every other console seems to have as much if not more variety than PS3, Blu ray is unproven and really by the time it catches on HD's connected to the internet will be right around the corner to supply movies, Playstation only succeeded in the past because of what it offered NOT THE NAME [see psp vs DS (a completely new name w/ no precident)]... and why would anybody pay $600 for a console when the games are just as good if not better on the other consoles?
