The PS3's specs will cause more sales than 360's?

Why do I keep hearing people saying the PS3's hardware will cause it to win this generation. If that were the case, shouldn't the original X-box have beaten the PS2? BTW> the PS3 does have a more powerful CPU but the 360 has a more powerful GPU. So the only real difference is BluRay, which in my opinion doesn't really matter. Because developers are not even filling DVD9s yet and compression technics are always advancing.Further more the 360's DVDdrive can pull 16.8 megabytesper second off a DVD, whlie the PS3 can only pull 8.7 mbps with BR. The lack of RAM in the PS3 compared to the 360 hurts it as well. So do you guys still think the PS3 will win because of it's hardware? IMO>Games will win the console war!

ps3 if developed for properly will produce outstanding graphx but from wat I'm seeing there is no games yet to be realease on the ps3 that the 360 cant handle.amorbis1001

Remember that video from E3 2005? They showed a clip of a forest growing in real time. Ya. That was all rendered using the cell.

Most people don't know but the cell can do graphics calculations/processing as well.
