The utter, complete domination. Something I wasnt sure I'd see again. I mean, the competition is obliterated. 30 million (+-) shipped with 95% or more of its exclusive library not even released yet. Meanwhile simultaneously, The Xbox has emptied its garrison with flop AFTER flop.

It must be said, Sony really are the best at this console business. Apparently catering to gamer's wants and needs does work ;).

I agree MS literally gave it their all already, Gears 4 and Failo 5 are done by completely different developers who seem to not know what the heck they're doing. While Sony haven't even whipped out their big guns yet; Naughty Dog, Gran Turismo, etc... And the PS4 is selling like EBT card accepted pizza on first of the month

Corrected, WiiU is a flop now. Too bad Nintendo couldn't sustain it and Wii died an untimely death. If they had sustained it they would have been able to catch up to the GOAT of all time, the PS2. It seems that it is now up to Sony to beat their own record with the PS2 since the other consoles are dead in the water. If they can support the PS4 as long as they supported the PS2 I think they can.

@quadknight: Sustain what, the console lasted for 7 years. Thats way too long. Also its not wise to say was when Nintendo is still the best selling in the industry in games and consoles. Thats not a was, thats an is.

Sony wont beat the PS2 record, NX will make sure of that ;)

And PS2 didnt need fans who had to wait 10 years for a new console. I think thats only reason PS4 sales look so good, people hungry for something new.
