Lol, 8 gig's of embeded memory, ultra slim, incredable battery life and what do you get? Slightly thiner with a tv output(who's going to use this anyway), lol sony delivers again.

you'd think that if they were going to make a redesign, they would fix that god awful excuse for an analog stick.
Exactly. How long until sony will give up and pull out of the console buisness? Or atleast scrap the Ps3 and try again.Lol, 8 gig's of embeded memory, ultra slim, incredable battery life and what do you get? Slightly thiner with a tv output(who's going to use this anyway), lol sony delivers again.

Was it REALLY so hard to add on another analog stick? All I wanted was just that, and I'd be getting that puppy on day one.Verge_6
When you look under the hood there really isn't much room under those face buttons for a second stick. It would take a big redesign to do so.
The PSP redesign is just fine. It's lighter, has better battery life and adds TV-out. Not too shabby and the change isn't radical enough where early adopters are going to feel ripped off.

Perhaps the people who are dissapointed by the features of the redesign shouldnt have had their head in the clouds.
8GB's of memory for $200? Get that garbage out of here:|
And for the record, it's a redesign, not the PSP2. The system hasnt even been on the market for 3 years, and Sony's supposed to alienate the 25 million current PSP users by adding a second analog stick? Get real people.

You can find a bunch of videos on youtube of people's modded PSP with an extra analog stick. Apparently, it works REALLY well for shooters.
well if they put 8GB embetted memory the price of PSP will increase over 300$.
making the psp ultra slim means they have to reduce the size of the screen which than wouldn't work properly.
putting a 2nd analog stick would be pretty stupid cause there is 22mil of psp sold with only 1 analog stick.
also the redesign took alot of advantages Longer battery, smaller PSP with out destroying anything, and TV output which ALOT of ppl wanted, so stop complaining cause DS slim didn't do nothing except making it smaller.

Explain the modded PSPs then, which managed to pull it off then?

The new psp is lighter, slimer, better speaker placment, longer battery life, tv out, fixedd pad, more ram for faster loading, and usb charging. Remeber it's a redesign
Plus its hard to improve on a design that was great the first time unlike the original DS

errr 2nd analog stick? you remember back in ps1 where you needed a dual shock controller to play certain games like metal gear 1 or else the gamees wouldn't play at all?[QUOTE="Battleer"]Exactly. I braught my PSP on day one and havent played it since january this year improvements or no improvements still doesnt change the fact that that thing is pointless.
Hardly any of the games feel right for a hand held and take 2 -3 mins to get in to and by then you get off the bus and try and put it in your pocket but its too big so you hold it.
Dont even get me started on the shinny screen that attracts glare like a magnet and that analog stick is just plan BAH in most games.
And yeah better quality movies, erm thank you sony... :xall the PSP has done is make me regret buying it BAH.
The modified PSPs look like crap. I bet the part of the video you didn't see is where the face buttons stopped working weeks down the road. TekkenMaster606
So? If some anonymous person can mod his handheld like that (with flaws and all), then why can't someone with the capabilites of mass producing said handheld with proffesional care and skill (Sony) do the same, sans fatal flaws?

That actually sound pretty cool,Really who doesn't want to play its handheld games in a TV.You are now safe from the 1 hour rule(Thats goes for the PSP and Ds)
Still it need a second analog.
Another thing Redesign is good and I don't remember that the Ds lite change too much from the Ds phat other than the Size and the screen.
LMFAO
the PSP in general is a joke, he game gear was better than that trash
NorthlandMan
Well first the Gamegear was a monster good but the screen size was terrible but a least you get color. Also you don't even have one and your opinions are based on what other fanboys said they are not even opinion of your own.
Basically you don't have an opinion of your own you haven't play a PSP.Really that other time I was being nice to you but if you are going again with your fanboy biased crap you should leave.
You cant protect yourself with the Sales shield forever. Also wasn't the Ds phat a piece of crap?.No Good games, awful launch,Pokemon Dash

Output to tv = sweet.
Better quality movies? then go buy a portable DVD player, it doesnt get much better than psp for handheld movies.I braught my PSP on day one and havent played it since january this year improvements or no improvements still doesnt change the fact that that thing is pointless.

By the way, what games do you own?
P.S. Try leaving your psp in sleep so you dont have to deal with the loads everytime you want to play:)
