Only one of the three announced Final Fantasy XIII games are going to be multiplatform. This is Fabula Nova Crystallis. The two major games have not been confirmed to be anything but PS3 exclusive. However, there are likely to be more "spinoffs" announced in the future, and these may be multiplatform as well.

But this is pretty shady data, and there is a reason we aren't seeing it on any major site. It is not on IGN or Gamespot. Reasoning for this is that it's almost purely speculation and the commentator wasn't completely clear. They did not state which platforms, which games, nor did they announce any new titles nor indicate whether nor how many titles would actually be multiplatform.

Therefore, why continue to comment and speculate on something that isn't even out in the open? Congratulations....it seems the Sony crowd has lost a few Final Fantasy titles.

However, what about Crystal Chronicles on the Gamecube? Or various Tactics titles released on Gameboy handhelds? This announcement was SIGNIFICANT. However, it is not PERTINENT to any actual discussion because none of it has been confirmed, nor is it recognized by any major gaming news site, nor is it clear at all.

Fabula Nova Crystalis is the Universe that the new Gen FFs histories happens, not a game on its own. FFXIII and VsXIII are PS3 exclusive. FFXIII Agito is to cell phones, the other three are yet to be know (if they will be spin offs, games with different time line/stories than the main FFXIII arc, and so on) and, specially, in wich platforms they'll be released. IMO the most possible platforms for the spins are the Wii, the DS and the PSP, with the X360 having a chance, but not that great because its poor sales in Japan, where SE makes big money.
