wow. i never got ODST and wasnt very interested in Reach until i saw this video. This game looks like it'll (hopefully) change up the Halo formula and looks like an excellent game.

Graphics look fantastic too

i said reach looked worse then halo 3, i take that back after watching this game in motion. looks alot better then halo 3 BUT still far from graphics king. graphics aside im totally hyped for this game after watching that video

This was never hyped as a potential "graphics kings". Just greatly improved visuals from Halo 3 :)

umm... yes.... yes he did...

I gotta say... as someone who likes Halo.... I wasn't anticipating Reach all that much, but wow... that trailer just blew me away. Oh man, it looks sweet as hell. I'm glad I have access to the beta.

I worry that after Reach the Halo series is gonna get whored out to a bad dev. team.... and Halo will become the next Sonic the Hedgehog.

That does look amazing. Finally, they added the sprinting feature.

I really like how it looks.

Holy crap. I was already excited as hell for this game, but how did it end up looking that good? Sure, it may not be graphics king, but it can compete.

Good god, talk about a case of screen shots not living up to what the game really looks like. The visuals are great, not to mention how impressive the environments are. Really digging the darker tone and ominous looking surroundings. Another HUGE improvement is the character models. What a leap from the Xbox quality character models from Halo 3.

Bungie, you have my attention. I am officially hyped for Halo Reach. Looking like the most appealing Halo by far to me and I applaud the direction this game is going in. The improvements are both obvious and impressive.

yeah some fanboys hyped it as graphics king..... I believe.... or maybe the thread was "Halo: Reach the new Grafix KING?" with the quesiton mark... I'm not sure, but I know what you're talking about.

Anyway... graphics king belongs to Crysis... but guess what, I'd rather play Halo than Crysis any day of the week.... and I'd much rather play Halo than any FPS on the PS3.

lol! My thoughts exactly as soon as I saw it--I haven't played a Halo game since the second installment(which I hated) so I figured maybe that was nothing new.

This game looks amazing. While ODST sparked my interest--this is doing a much better job at enticing me.

personally with UC2, Heavy rain, GOW 3, Crysis 2, killzone 2 , crysis can all be considered graphics king

but with the scale of this game and the art-direction? I believe it is possible to mention this as a potential graphics king with all the above

Now, coupled with how technical the graphics are getting in this game, I would agree with that statement. A match for Crysis? No. Match for Heavy Rain and God of War 3? I'd say so.

Same here, but I'll be buying it now. Reach is looking better than anything they have done so far to me. The darker atmosphere is something I find particularly appealing.

I wouldnt say it looks better than some awesome looking corridor games but this can easly be the most technically impressive game on a console. everything looks huge and i cant wait for some epic battles on those environments!!!

technically Crysis 2 will be king on PC with a monster rig, but like killzone 2 its art-direction is lacking and apart form the nano-suit it just isnt memorable compared to

Halo Reach with its awesome sci-fi vista's, where's Crysis 2 again?.........New York?

I think that The Last Guardian on PS3 will be my personal graphics-king for 2010 due to it just being beautiful in its art-direction

Looks pretty good, I hope they stick to their guns when it comes to the large scale battles. Despite all the War talk in the Halo universe, I never really felt like I was in the thick of one with all the smaller battles that take place.

Well I do not know how linear Crysis is but the other ones he mentioned are very linear and/or scripted.

But all he said is that this halo has the highest CHANCE of getting a 10 here. It's not like he's saying OMGZ 10/10 AM CONFIRMED!!!11! I'm skeptical of if getting a 10/10, seeing as we still don't know enough about it to make that claim, but again, it's not like it's totally impossible.
